I have no idea what I would draw. I have nothing popping into my head. And, if I allow images to pop into my head, they'll be contrived and not spontaneous.

This sort of thing happens to me all the time.

Hell, it happens to me a lot when people think they're being polite and say something like "How are you?" I sometimes just look at them and shrug or say "Beats me" because nothing comes to mind as an answer to the question.

I could have said this exact same thing - sometimes I think my mind either works too slow when it comes to making quick responses, or it overloads itself with a bunch of nonsense to something very simple.

Its supposed to say something about your current state of inner personality and mind i.e what you think about your inner self. I dont know if it always works, but like i say, my first response was cactus... it did fit pretty well at the time and i really enjoyed analysing it afterward... so enjoy!

Also, I automatically say "I'm good" when someone asks such a meaningless question. There are only three reasons they ask such a stupid question, they are bored shitless, are trying to be friendly, or have noone else to talk to.

if someone asked me to quickly draw something... my mind would be filled with tons of shit all at once, but the thought process that would stand out is "they want me to draw something quickly, which means they want an unfiltered response, which means they want something which arent normally comfortable doing" and then i would think to draw a dick.
its not what im thinking about, but when you say something that says to me "unfiltered" it makes me think "inappropriate"

for some reason, though, whenever i am sitting bored with paper and a pencil, i will pretty much subconsciously draw the black thing in this, and every now and then i will also draw the red lines as well. it starts off like a sin graph, which i just mirror, i dont lift the pencil off the paper until i draw the semi vertical lines
