Anyways, I think that there wasn't enough freedom in the test. I mean like I enjoy competitive multilayer RTSes (e.g: WarCraft 3; StarCraft) but I also enjoy single player platform games with collectables and achievements (Ratchet & Clank; Ape Escape), and I also enjoy multiplayer console games which I can play with friends IRL too (e.g: Mario Kart; Star Fox Assault). I felt that I couldn't convey all this information.

I guess I'm just an all-round gamer.

My favorite gaming experience ever was in Saga of Ryzom (which was a shitty game), but I spent weeks passing through high level regions (when I was low level) to make it around the world... literally entire days looking for holes that I could sneak through, and some would only pop up once every hour or two or more. Was very satisfying to do something the developers had intended to be impossible.

No, never heard of it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl was good because practically everything one could do was of tactical significance. And admittedly annoying as the weapon degeneration was, it got players out of the RPG collect/upgrade mindset, the small inventory and weight restrictions also encouraged an item-expendable mindset. So the game was less about steadily acquiring wealth and more about surviving more-or-less independently in the zone. That sense of isolation and vulnerability, like being locked inside a lion enclosure at the zoo, then trying to stay alive until the new day dawned.

I'm sick of games that give me everything, I want a struggle to survive.

Looks like I am a fairly balanced gamer. Wish I was that social in real life. My Fe is extremely low/non-existent according to one of those online tests a lot of people here took. Am I the only gamer that likes multiplayer? I am so sick of this, seems like the only gamers into multiplayer are kids. None of my friends like to do multiplayer very often/ at all. Seems like most of the time its just taking turns playing 1 player games. I play 1 player games when I'm by myself to pass the time. If theres a group of people together why doesn't everyone like to play at the same time? Is it because its something only kids do? Fuck That. One of the most fun gaming experiences I've had was laying drunken multiplayer Halo 3. Too bad that only happened once and that group of people doesn't like me because I get too negative 1/2 of the time I am drinking, especially when the subject of females comes up. I don't even enjoy playing games anymore now that games seem to be my only friend left. I fucking hate this bullshit reality.

edit: I'm not much into online multiplayer, I like to be able to actually talk to a person that is physically there and not just someone behind a computer.

Edit: I find it kind of funny that my socializing is so high, but then, in WoW I spent hours chatting in guild chat with people (more than actually doing anything relevant, really). I've always been much more social online than in person, but the moment I'm on ventrilo or anything, I'm back to just listening. Funny how that works out

Most games I tend to play a bit more soloist, or if I'm playing with a group I'll usually play the support / rescue character, paladin or medic of some sort. I always liked being the person saving everyone else. I could tell some epic stories of impossible situations being overcome by my strategies ^_^
