cryptonia... one has to not trust scientists in order to trust science.
Lets say, I will have an illness, I am more likely willing to trust science in order to get well than to question a political agenda behind what could be..... even more, if some effects are too clear to be misrepresented.
I don't know about you, but... usually, cooling would also include crispier winters, not warmer, wouldn't you agree?
I would like to wait for proper published researches done to support the global cooling rather than shout it as loud as I can to prove my point.
So far, warmer winters...

I'm only guessing, but this is not really an easy task to solve when it becomes to be a non-native English speaker.
I like your answer by the way. This is what must be questioned even if an answer is given.

OK, my laptop seems to have a bit more stability now, though I've had some problems... as ubuntu finding out partition errors and correcting them, however xp had another view, the same exact errors ubuntu found to be corrected, chkdsk on xp had to correct them their ways.
After some updates...
Well... I like Google as a search engine, never gotten the hype about Google Chrome.
I guess the OS will be too minimalistic.... suitable only for a casual user, that is, who reads his/her mail, a little bit of news and maybe watch youtube videos and that's it, nothing more.

I'm a stock owner.... though... for the total value of... I guess... about 20 dollars. ;) Used to have more, though sold most when teh crisis just started.
Maybe in a few years will start investing again, though I'm sure I do not live to my pension age, I'm sure I can get profit. When I sold...
It does not give any hints if results are the same (100%) for OpenSuse, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Debian, Linux Mint and Fedora. (though I can cast out a three of them I've tried in the past). So I'm using Ubuntu now, have used Mandriva, Linux Mint and Fedora in the past, so... openSUSE and Debian to...
Okay, so here is an article that I can relate to. Sometimes, it crashes out of nowhere, while doing practically nothing. At times when booting up in hangs on black screen. There has been some graphical problems, ending up with crashing. Both, Firefox and Opera do crash at times. Java is not...

The first computer I ever used. If i remember correctly, it had like only two colors, black and green. Though it was soon replaced with western ones.
I guess it was also on Windows 98 .
The quick launch function on Vista, as Cogwulf used Vista before, should not be enabled by default if I remember correctly, and 'show desktop' button is in it.
If he did not enable it, there is no way to remember.
I don't like the new approach on Windows...
Well... windows 7 has been out officially only for two weeks max and it is based on Windows NT.
But now that it has come up... would the forum show a windows 95... Windows 3.0 or Windows 1.1 or 1.0? Though I haven't used last two ones much... I don't know if they even capable of internet. But...
If he already has Vista.... 7 would be preferred. I would recommend 7 if they were the only choices.
On windows 7 right now, there are still some problems on some computers to find working drivers. Some drivers have to be installed as it would be XP, some as Vista. And still not all programs...
I've been using Ubuntu for about two weeks now. Since the last time using it, it has become better and more user friendly.
Though the new distro 9.10 still has some issues compared to 9.04.

Once you can say no, it becomes much easier. Twice I quit, both times had smokers around. Though I cannot guarantee that I never start again, right now though, nothing points to it.
I've been 'The fool' my whole life, so no surprise.;)
Anthile, the post you were referring to was. Not from the beginning though.

I quit smoking the first time uhmmm... about five years ago. I had one month left to be in an army. It was hard... to go on patrol for hours and not smoke. I had to get my mind off of smoking. All the free time I had, I read books, slept or when really needed, was in the gym punching boxing bags...

Though with clean install no format is usually needed, clean install would put your old windows into windows.old directory and it would not change any other folders you'd have. Therefore no old files would be lost.
You had to 'format' your drive would be the keyword but not the install itself.

I've been here almost a year now, I doubt if everyone knows me. It's a part because I do not find some topics important enough or I do not know much about, and I am not socially comfortable with other people, even more if one has a similar mindset as I do but disagrees with me. I'm glad that...
Self help books are BS, go act as anybody does, you're doing it wrong, here are my suggestions you need to follow point by point to be as everyone is. No, I don't want to be as everyone is, I would want to find my own path but not to follow anothers.
