Haha that's cuz i'm special.20-10. Also, I've never once looked at a person wearing glasses and thought to myself that they looked intelligent because of them.
Do you wear glasses?
Myopia? Hyperopia? Astigmatism?
I'm nearsighted -1 from too much reading. I love my glasses, makes me look smart.
You?![]()
But if you don't wear glasses doesn't it go worse. At least that's my situation I gotta wear em even if it makes me look smart or not.Left eye is a bit minus and right is a plus. But there isn't much difference to wear glasses.
I can relate to most of that, I don't know if my pupils are large or not but I am very light sensitive, especially around midday the sunlight reflects of almost any surface (concrete pavement even) with such intensity that I have to squint and/or cover my eyes just to see where I'm going, and of course excessive squinting causes headaches (but why?). As for being high, well I've never been accused of being high for having large pupils, however throughout highschool I was known as the MJ smoker for my bleary eyes, drowsiness and generally laid-back/agreeable/contemplative nature.I also have unusually large pupils which makes me very sensitive to light; I pretty much always wear sunglasses during the day or I get headaches. People have suspected me of being high because of my pupils on several occasions.![]()

Contacts and glasses here. I have a turned eye (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amblyopia), and it doesn't seem that bad when you look at it scientifically but believe me, it is so horrible to live with. I don't mind wearing my glasses, but they often rub on my nose. I've also been wearing contacts for a few years so if I rocked up at school one day I don't think I'd be able to handle all the attention.![]()
does this make it hard for you socially?
or with attractiveness? (im not trying to be rude, but i always thought it would make things a little harder, was wondering if you felt it hinders you)
when it comes to hearing or sight for me it depends.Being blind would be so bad. If I were to keep one sense it would be sight.

Are you able to have any kind of surgery? I had surgery for strabismus when I was young (I know it's different than amblyopia, but would muscle surgery have the same effect?)
I'm not sure. I don't think laser surgery would fix it, but I think there is a cure (or at least I hope there is). I had a surgery or two when I was very young, had to wear an eye patch for a few months if I remember correctly. Wikipedia is hinting me that it can be cured by using the the bad eye alot, and strengthening the muscle, I'm not sure how accurate that is or how long it would take. Depending on the effort and time would probably change my decision to commit to it.
If a surgical cure does come about, I'll pay everything I own to get it, though!
