  • There are nine moderators and they decide who becomes a mod. Disregarding the nonsense I posted in the thread, I am not a mod and I am not sure the moderator team on this forum would ever want me to be one. To be a mod does not require much computer skills at all. The forum's software provides easy to use "back-end" set of tools. If you want experience in this area I suggest looking at python's django web development library. Python is an easy to learn language and django makes web development quite straight forward. If you want to make more advanced websites, try using python's tornado library. I used python tornado to provide a web-interface for a smart-grid that is currently being constructed.
im sorry to let you down, but sadly i don't know python :/ Ill look into learning some in the next few days and get back to ya. Unfortunately my only real talent is dreaming and observing.
I forgot to thank you for the fibonacci link you put in my thread. I did find it very helpful, and very interesting. For instance, I didn't know of a way to find each number in the series with a Fn.
Interesting. I took a quick read of it, and it's very coherent. On first thought, I like and agree with the static dynamic parts. I may take a better look later, and ponder it a bit more in awhile.
hey, looking back, you told me i was an ISTJ, did you actually meant it or it was just like a joke for it is the opposite of my supposed ENFP type ¿?
i'm fine with it, in fact i find ISTJ somewhat attractive but i would like to know your explanation :o
Hey! I found your pm and the video on my wall you sent to be very helpful, I still intend to reply to you but alas my mad procrastination skills and weirdly busy schedule as of late. So I apologies for such a late response My health has been improving and my pains mostly gone. I'll give more details later today :)

    How have you been?
Aye, I did. I apologize, as I'm doing the procrastinating thing with too many things right now, and they are all catching up on me.

You wrote an interesting and detailed pm, and I'll get to sorting my thoughts about it and write back.
I maintain that everything is uncertain.
It may be possible for a creating deity or an intelligence to exist outside our universe, or within it.
Then again everything may be completely random, or something more bizzare.

The big bang intrigues me, if it truly is the way our universe began.
What happened prior to it? Why did it happen?
    So many interesting uncertainties.
    Wow :O
Was it the divine inventions thread?
Some of the things I said still make sense, but I was harsh there :O
Ah yes, that was the peroid in my life where I hated any person/s who held religion, and went on ultra-rational rants about scientific correctness.
In retrospect, I apologize for what I now perceive to have been personal attacks/needless antagonism
(Im not good with emotional stuff, but I do think in that thread I was too harsh towards you)
    Hello :)
iirc that was a conversation about biology or science?
Will look for it, would be interesting so see if I still agree with my statements, was in quite a different mindset 2 years ago.
Hi animekitty, i know i can come off as an total asshole but normally i'm not like that. I wanted to know your thoughts on my type.
Hey there, I'm sick atm and too tired to think clearly, I will get back to this once I've regained some energy, been sleeping most of the night and day now for 2 days :P
thank you for your link Animekitty this is EXACTLY what I was talking about - dynamic brain switching! I subscribe to the integrated information theory of consciousness, so this seems like the obvious solution to me. This article is my precise idea in a nutshell. Much more research is needed but I have faith that this method will work.
hello kitty (:D), my response to you on my introduction thread may have seemed a bit bitchy but I swear I didn't mean it that way, it's just I have a knee jerk reaction to stuff that sounds pseudoscience or hippie or new age, but I want you to know I think you're cool and interesting - I used to believe in crazy stuff myself, I was into chaos magick for a while, I know what it's like to be mystical - so I hope I haven't offended you in any way with my response to what you said. Also, do you like furries? Your pic is like a blue kitsune girl or something, very cute - if you're a furry I will cyberhug you with glee. :D
i'll keep what you've asked on my page in mind and hopefully get back to you when i have time. i see that you're still having problems typing yourself. you are a tricky one to type. i may post something that might clear more things up. take care
If you are ENFP, then you probably want romance more than an actual relationship. I have an ENFP friend who loves to be in love, but he has no concept of how to actually be with someone. Right now, he's finally happy/romantically stable, because he found the perfect thing: an online affair with a married but seperated woman across the country. They can pretend to be together, and they meet up about once every 6 months for a weekend, and he is free to live his life the rest of the time. He says he wishes they could be together, but it's easy to see that he loves longing more than the togetherness.
You're actually type animekitty. Why don't you like that? Not a question I want a reply from but maybe it will help you maybe not. Maybe you like yourself, and just want to learn this stuff, then google is your friend
Okay just my initial philosophical thought on AI:

Perception is the ultimate analysis of reality.
The mind will only serve as the storage for the all-encompassing vision.

Now the mind aids human perception in navigating the langscape, but it will become less and less of a concern as pieces are added together.

It may be that no perception is perfect and the wholeness cannot be grasped, in such a case, perception will remain analytic in its nature and mind will remain reactively synthetic.

At least that's what I came up with analysing the instances of ultimate intellect.
kay I don't mind but it will all take time. given the size of the project and the challenge we might not be finished, but if only for some insights that lead to a new direction, it will be worth it
I've been thinking about your issues with a fuzzy mind. I go through a similar thing but not to an extreme.
Got my message wall fixed. I had been meaning to talk to you but needed to fix my account first.

Thanks for your comment in chat about 'type grayman' and thanks for your input.
I don't really like math nor that thread ! haha, it was just a necessary step in my research. (liking something and being good at it are 2 different things)

From what I see in your threads, learning to program would be a necessary step in reaching your goals, I can't take away that burden. I could answer some specific question but I haven't found any specific question in what you just said :D

python is great for quickly getting a working prototype, but it's a very slow language. C/C++ is faster and more powerful than anything but will require a lot of effort and time to learn.
    the benefit is mutual.
what you said reminds me of this:
    youtube.com/watch?v=_DcVLUA-UR0

i've never personally had awareness of experiences specifically like this one but hopefully, if you don't already know of people having such experiences, it'll be of similarity or at least interest. peace :)
i enjoy your posts, you seem well rounded and have many good insights into your fields of interest. thankyou, hope to continue seeing you about. peace
Nice, I think what you wrote makes sense.

Archie has gotten something backwards about Ni and Ne. It's because he tries to understand Ni through it's output and not through what is actually going on in the head of the Ni user imo. He describes it like he does Ne which is not fair because Ni is an introverted function.

That and he picks horrible examples which say more about his relationship with his wife than MBTI.
I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure what you're asking. And I doubt I'd be able to help you, even if I knew.
Typical INTJ child? You'd be better off looking at the public profiles. I've spent years studying the INTP and INFJ, that's all I've had time for. My understanding of the other types isn't as deep so I'd rather not try to sketch out something like childhood.
okay, a bit clearer now! intriguing thoughts, with adjustment for the bias inherent to the type of observer and interaction of types.

on the spot: Fi. but you are hard to type. you seem to have a very unusual (yet not typologically distinct) personality and even more unusual style of language. and when we are on this deep level, the functions tend to conflate, especially Ti, Fi, Ni. all of them seek essence, but the question is how. Fi is more confident in jumping to conclusions, Fi with Ni (ISFP or INTJ) even more self-assured i think. Ti wants some kind of base, fundament, accuracy, sometimes in vain. you seem to jump around between conclusions and perspective a lot so maybe Fi-Ne is the best fit (Fi - not craving complete rational justification, more creatively/whimsically receptive, Ne - less need for or confidence in final judgment).

    may i ask your nationality?
