I can imagine a lot here have observed how both teams played the last game and might be coming up with their own ideas of what constitutes good play. Can we not say, 'I think town lost the last game because x' and instead must say 'I think this is a good town strategy because x'?

Yes, its an odd rule, but is there so people can't talk in code. So you can mention last game all you want, BUT you cannot quote from other sources. Images are fine, videos are fine, just no quoting.
