I was wondering what should be some good threads to read and amuse myself with.
So, i want you to list out your top 10 favourite threads on this site.
Since, unlike FB we dont really have a like button, one cant really rediscover any old threads.

It can be any topic, it can be fun/serious/troll, it can be reading lists or rambling stories or discussions
Just anything you think which would be worth a read.
More like an index of best threads on this site.

Also, apart from that, you can also list out the top 5 people you follow on this thread because of their posts/threads (ik im on that list, but u dont have to include me cos its evident to all)

And yea, you can also list the best contribution by you to this forum. So you would state which is the most successful thread you have started.

So, yea
1. top 10 threads
2. top 5 members
3. the best thread started by you

I don't really have ten top threads.. but my favorites are the long standing ones such as 2016 Presidential Race, Random Thoughts, some in the Fun subforum and then those related to actual interesting things such as the Gravitational Waves thread... I dislike threads such as those centered around bestiality, stupid sex questions and things that are exceptionally minor or petty.

My favorite thread of my own is probably Cloud Nine, only cuz it entertains me.

My top 5 members are probably Anime, Tan, Yellow, Tberg & Jenny ... There are a whole bunch of other members who I also enjoy, but the members who I have just listed are for reasons surrounding community spirit, and bringing engaging or illuminating content to the forum.

Cool thread Yolo.

This is easily my favourite thread. Good times.

Gosh that is definitely the greatest thread. It's like a good quality reality show.

Forum co-creator gets stripped of admin status and launches ddos attack in retaliation to the coup d'état *shivers* too much excitement, can't take it, no drama on here will live up to it ever again. Pity THD left, I liked him. Seem to remember he ended up getting himself banned on purpose by posting porn or something? Maybe that was someone else.

also wtf is up with Grayman's new avatar. Maybe there's a cool reference I don't have.

Grayman's avatar is a tribute to a real woman whose obvious frailties have not perverted her sense of beauty and hope and love. She is better than me.

Grayman's woman looks familiar to me. I think she's one of those people who can't store any body fat?

There used to be music by Hexchild on the original INTPCENTRAL site, and I absolutely LOVED the electronica music he created and the cute Swedish accent he injected into some of that stuff. One song even was about INTPCENTRAL with the best theme of being on safari. Don't know if anyone remembers Hexchild, but that stuff was brilliant. Out of all the stuff I remember, that sticks with me. omg, I found him: https://soundcloud.com/user-840297918

None of the threads are accessible. Is there an archived copy anywhere?

I don't think so, the server / host likely closed down long around 2014, but many said it was too much of a circle jerk, got pretty disgusting in the end.

I know there is another INTP forum but it won't let me access it, its not INTPCENTRAL, Here is one: https://www.typologycentral.com/threads/intp-complex.111034/

omg, I FOUND HEXCHILDS ORIGINAL INTPCENTRAL HELL SAFARI LINK:
Love this stuff, he had a studio in Sweden and used Synthesizers to create this stuff, brilliant!

I approve of you tracking the thread down puffy. I would do it for all the threads here but that seems like... effort.

For the others I think the way hyperlinks were made changed with the upgrade. The threads still exist and if you go to the effort of finding them you can.

If anyone is currently in the mood to do it I would be interested I'll give you a whole one social credit.

Come to think of it, I could participate in this exercise, though no doubt my selection will be highly personal and of no use or interest to posterity.
Bah! Posters of posterity can kiss my posterior, post-haste yet posthumously. For I am past my prime.

For all of the pretensions of intellect and insight that this forum has always possessed it's ironic that what stands out to me most is its early sense of community and literary madness.

Behold!
The thread itself that pushed me to pledge my vows to this fortress sable:

*THUNDER CRASHES*

Perhaps a touch too dramatic. It's really quite a silly sentimental thing. Hm~

-

The genuinely dramatic moments such as a rogue Administrator, secret romances, suicide and suicidal ideation, forum hacks, a cult of typology, duplicitous trolls, proselytizing thread hijackers, a tidal wave of duplicate accounts, redemption arcs, and occultic personality experiments, while stressful at the time, were no doubt defining moments too. Insomuch as you can point to any specific thread to sum them up, but as one of the people who was actively responsible for dealing with the fallout of these in times yonder, there is the question of how fondly I ought to be looking back on them.
Besides, while many of these no doubt had a profound affect on myself and many older members, the forum has no doubt moved on.

There was this thread too, which attempted a more comprehensive recollection of the forum highlights, but it was a lot of work and never really got off the ground entirely:

In retrospect the threads that stick out to me are riddled with high tension and effort-posting. I'm not sure if it's a genuine preference for higher stakes, or if that's what I remember best.

When the forum was doing mafia and D&D that was a good time (even if it stressed me right the hell out). While I don't begrudge unstructured post-play, I rarely value it enough to remember?

Other than that a lot of the value I've experienced from this forum has been off-site. I've gamed with a fair number of people from here, and I still hit up a few (mostly) ex-members from time to time for advice or recommendations.

I also remember (but can't find or can't be bothered looking for) a few moments that I feel like I learned from. One time Yellow bamboozled the everliving fuck out of me with some evolutionary psych bs. Another time I remember going full ham on TimeAsylums then later reading what I'd written and disagreeing with myself.

I also used to like how some of the members had predictable "trickles": THD's deliberate and creative misinterpretations, Cog's vacuum powered zeppelins, CherryCola's art, whateverthefuck braindrivel Redbaron had unearthed from the murky depths this week, Ceg's or omgwtfhisnamesMissingMissy very different styles of flowery language. I guess for me it's less about full threads and more about those moments or ongoing contributions. There's a lot less of that sort of passive direction going on, or, a lot less that I value, these days. Current forum momentum is mostly from well-trodden ideology.

Its not there now, but there once was a thread by "Outmywindow" which asked you to post what you see out your window.
It was interesting to see photos of what people shared!

....

droneup.com
Seven states now offer drone delivery (for items totaling ten pounds or less for $3.99 per delivery) and there is a website available which tells you which items and stores use drone delivery and if its available in your state.
But you need to live within about an hour of a drone delivery center. Anyway, drone delivery is not big yet, but its growing:
