There has been some history with this and we have thought about it. Also Face had been involved in the process. So it may seem exaggerated and suddenly from the outside, but it isn't.

You received a warning, which was entirely appropriate.

Face has been methodically disrespectful of other members here since joining, and clearly enjoys the chaos they cause.

If someone threatens the well-being of the forum, reducing the value of interacting for all the other forum members, and does so repeatedly, then they have earned themselves a banning.

We have parts of the forum especially for unleashing silliness. Please use them.
