To me, the most immportant part of typing a person is finding out whether or not they are Ti/Fe or Te/Fi.

The order of the traits don't matter to me as much.

Ne is something I can turn on at will, flipping a lightswitch and instantly becomeing a totally different machine.

Fe doesn't ever leave though, it sits there and mocks me every step of the way, telling this intuitive thinker that he is nothing more than a machine that is to be used and discarded.

Perusing the rules wouldn't be a terrible idea, but if your capacity limits you to only a single commandment, then remember don't be a nuisance. Otherwise, an extended visit to the greener pastures and radiant picturesque landscapes of the land of sunshine and joy might be in your future.

It was funny, for a while there they only deleted a handful of ENTP drama bomb posts, and it made it appear that they were accusing me of destroying the ENTP forum (I was not even aware it existed...), because I was the person who just so happened to post right before the grand mastermind culprit showed up and started causing more drama.

This whole matter is mildly amusing to me, but as an INTP I don't really have the energy to invest in such external matters like drama...

Our people have suffered and lived without proper emoticonage. Then we were thrown out of our lands, bitter, and without love. And we came here, and there were emoticons, goood emoticons which we never saw growing on the cyber trees in home lands.

I don't think there are any formal rules other than the most obvious stuff (don't spam too much, don't harass too badly, don't post illigal stuff and insane gore? I just made these things up... ) I mean, we're INTPs, we'd feel obliged to challenge any rules, so making a strict set of rules or something would be counterproductive anyways.

Then again, I don't really think there's any rules about moderation and banning either. The blade cuts both ways?

As a rule of the thumb, try not to do anything that would upset an INTP... enough for them to get out of their chair, that should keep you more than safe.

Greetings, to both of you. No, I have a long standing account over at PerC and saw the 'I killed ENTP.org' proclamation made by Sad Sack. I just ignored him.

I'm a little surprised we've not seen JG or Munchies here yet, tho. Poor Munchies. He's been at the org longer than anyone that I can recall, and he is banned at PerC. It's pretty easy to get banned there. Hell, they even banned their own mod!

I've run "free" chat sites before. If you're in it to make money, you're in the wrong business. Ads are annoying to everyone and don't pay much. "Open" chat sites are also a never ending source of aggrivation for the administrator, as someone usually posts something offensive while you're out of town for a few days and by the time you're back, all hell has broken loose. Also, you get legal threats all the time. So I fully understand "too much hassle, no return."

Really, someone who runs a chat site should do it because they like it and find the chat rewarding in itself, not as a business enterprise (where disappointment surely lurks...)

My empathy and sympathy go out to Aspectmin. Been there done that. (Well, as an ENTP I don't have very much of those feelings, but whatever little I have...)

I would think that retrieval of the Archives should be a priority for someone before they are deleted and lost for all time.

There was some good info posted on the site. But at the end of the day - it is sort of a substitute for verbal conversations, and how many people actually keep records of their conversations? In some ways I am more than happy for everything I ever wrote on the forum to never see the light of day again. For some reason I am one of those people who delete all chatty emails, texts and Facebook messages unless they have phone numbers or something that I want to use at a later date. I would rather die than hear a replay of a conversation I had two years ago! Except in my memory!

Go to User CP > settings and options (column on left) > edit options > messaging & notification > check 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default'.

messages are sent regardless of not being stored.
