I've never really had a huge problem with looking people in the eye. In fact, I tend to stare at people when talking to them, especially when I'm listening. I think it's just intense focus. I have to remind myself to look away and give the occasional head nod as to not look weird.
Yes, unfortunately the trial version is only about the first 30 seconds of a level that takes several minutes to finish. I'll see if I can find a better link.
Good replies.
No one has ever said to me they think I'm judging them. But then again, I try to be very responsive and practice active listening when interacting with other people. They'll never know what I'm thinking because I don't show it. I also tend to be very jovial and light-hearted...
That was fast. How many attempts did it take you? I'm not sure about the other levels since I play it on XBOX but it's the "The Impossible Game Level Pack". I actually think those are a bit easier because the timing for jumps flows better.
It makes your mind even further open. Not just intuitively but sensing as well. There are some physical things that I literally would have NEVER noticed before while high such as dirt on the floor. I would describe my intuitive thoughts as "ever-branching". One connection leads to another...

Damn addicting. I've downloaded it and the other levels on Xbox Live and I've only beaten level 4 out of the 4 levels so far and gotten at least 80% of the way on each one. Once you learn how to play it's not THAT hard. The problem is the timing for certain jumps...
I've seen several mainstream ones:
1. Death Note (not overrated thank you very much)
2. Dragon Ball Z (Nostalgia)
3. Naruto
4. Bleach
5. Samurai Champloo
6. Ouran High School Host Club
7. Yu Yu Hakusho
8. Inuyasha
Side note: I can't really get into One Piece it's too wacky for me.
Wow interesting thread. I'm going to offer the perspective of a guy who loves women and is in no way asexual.:)
The thing that annoys me is the fact that I have to make so many "work arounds". How do I approach this woman in a setting where she is more likely to be guarded (the grocery store)...
Seeing as you have not tried it, I highly doubt you know how a high mind works. It's also pointless to judge it squarely on your peers' opinions. You have to first make it your decision, because it seems like you have more of a problem with them telling you to do it rather then the act itself...
I for one sure don't like redundancy, however I'll usually "throw them a bone" (especially ESFJs) so to speak and give no indication that I know exactly what they're talking about. Or remain silent as to not seem like a know-it-all.
What I don't particularly care for is when people fell the...
I used to think like that, but then one day I realized that they were not stupid (in most cases) but I was just smarter. I don't expect too much out of most people. If they do seem to be somewhat intelligent then my behavior towards them doesn't really change much.
I do find all kinds of...
Generally, I don't have to put on a "mask" because the way I act is mostly just learned behavior. I've always been a funny guy and I can hold my own in most situations. I don't like one on one conversations however because I feel like it's easier to feed off the information from the two or...
Well it's been some time since I've had a chance to post on the forum.
I'm in decent shape: 22 years old 5'7 135 lbs. I can bench 205 lbs once but my run times suck.
@OP, of course you're gonna gain wait munching on MREs in the desert. I have not gotten deployed yet (and most likely won't...
Don't make the mistake of believing that extra effort to get laid=bad game/desperation. It's all about a subtle swagger and attitude. No one is going to get laid going around the club asking every pretty girl if she wants to go home. Besides, most of the time it doesn't go down until a few...
Lol at some of these responses. No, I don't think he's trolling because I'm the same way. If I see a pretty girl I will try to flirt with her literally every chance I get. I frequent clubs and the party scene for the sole purpose of getting girls. I get no enjoyment out of dancing and the...
Never used to understand flirting until I was constantly put in awkward situations where I failed and learned that way. Like most of my other extroverted traits, it's mostly just learned behavior. Now it's just natural to me and I've turned into a huge flirt. I've accumulated a big knowledge...
I saw Olympus has Fallen yesterday. The US government was left in a hopeless hostage situation in which the enemy held all the cards. The idea that really stood out about this film was the wisdom to make extremely (yes extremely) tough decisions. There were so many incredible lose-lose choices...
I'm Active Duty Air Force. I can't say I agree with the notion that the AF doesn't appreciate intelligence especially with the huge number of INTPs I know. What was your job?
There are several things that annoy me about being in the military but they pay too well. There's also OSI (Office...
I can relate to you in a few ways. I score high in Ti, Ne and overall Perception, however, I also score high in Ni. I joined the Air Force as well and while there are things that irritate me about it, I have grown accustomed. The steady job and benefits are more than enough to satisfy some...
I'm 21. I think I'm in the age range where it doesn't mean anything to keep counting anymore. However I can't help but to wonder what the "future me" looks like. It feels like I'm aging very quickly because I can recognize some of the mental changes I continue to go through. I still feel...
I could barely finish watching Prometheus, what a load of crap. I agree it looked good, but had such a bad storyline that I don't really know what to make of it. Highly overrated film.
I like them but as was noted some people use them way too much. I'm to the point now where if I hear another Chuck Norris joke of any kind, I'll... probably just... roll my eyes or something.
(Troll away I don't care).
I relate INTPs and other people to pointillism, a type of art work that utilizes dots instead of normal brush strokes. I feel like I am one of those dots, separated but combining with the outside world to make up one big picture. Inside my dot there is nothing else but my inner thoughts...
I do the same thing because after a while, one just understands the behavior necessary in an ordinary conversations. I tend to stare instead of lack of eye contact so I occasionally look away to keep them comfortable. I also give a slight smile or serious face (depending on the conversation)...
I saw Skyfall last night and thought it was excellent. They really took a page out of the Batman series with the villain and it paid off. Revenge also seems to be a recurring theme in the three Daniel Craig versions so far.
Also, Ralph Fiennes is in it. He's one of my favorite actors who...
This. I've adapted some J traits and E traits but that doesn't make me an ENTJ. In fact I think that adaptation is further evidence for why types don't change. New personality traits are just add-ons that are naturally assimilated over time through experience, maturity etc.
There's a very short list of things I do care about and a long list of the things I don't but I'll try to condense it to the big stuff.
Could really care less about: Most TV programs, Small talk, Strict rules, stupid procedures, AUTHORITY (which sometimes gets me into trouble), Self monitors...
I get complimented on my eyes frequently. I have the prototypical INTP eyes. The dark circles, small, and ultra serious-looking. Some people have even said it intimidates them, which I can understand somewhat. I might take a picture of them tomorrow if I feel like it and add them.
This is one of those INTP traits that has never applied to me. I stare people right in the face when I'm talking to them or if they're talking to me. I usually look away for a split second to think while they're talking but I revert my focus right back at them. If I'm interested in them or...
Very dark brown. They look black normally and you can really only see that they're brown in sunlight. Even then there's barely a difference between my pupil and iris.
I'm not aware of any correlation between eye color and intelligence. If anyone knows let me know. Don't forget to cite your...
My parents never gave me any sort of indication at all if I was above average as a child. I just sort of come to realize it as I got older. I can't really say if I even used to be smarter as a small child. I do remember being smarter than the other 29 of my classmates from 1st to 6th grade in...
Depends on my situation really. Right now I'm living in a building with dorm rooms full of 17 to 25 year olds so I'm going out pretty much everyday of each weekend. Yesterday I went bowling drunk and managed a 61 my second game when the liquor was really kicking in lol.
I expect when I move...
"Happy" is a really tough word for me to use here considering I have different levels and standards of what I judge as happiness. With that said I'm happy most of the time (I did not vote on the poll) because I do not consider happiness to be relative. Your idea of happiness and mine could be...
No, no, no. MBTI is like a mental skeleton that serves as a basic framework for how personality works. Of course it will never be 100% accurate because it isn't deep enough to encompass ALL personality behavior. 16 total types is a good number that categorizes each function in a way that is...
Those are a lot of possible MBTIs. Do you have a general understanding of the cognitive functions yet? That would help a lot. Look up Ti and Ni and try to understand the differences.
Also, welcome to the forum.
Remember, Feeling is a judging function. While I'm not "emotive" I still feel the emotion. INTP feelings don't really project because To say that you "can't help but to express emotion" is not a Ti trait at all. Ti is rational, Fe encompasses values and Fi encompasses personal values.
I'd probably prefer work but if I'm socializing it's almost always in the conventional way of going out, parties, etc. Depending on the people there it's not as painful as it used to be. I enjoy myself while I'm out. If I'm not with REALLY good friends it won't be nearly as fun. General...
You'd be excited too if you just went through SJ hell like I did. I'll give full details later, but I haven't been on the internet, seen TV, had decent food, or any sort of free time at all. Only reason I didn't go crazy was because of all the INTPs that make up the majority (not an...
I've been getting up at 4:45 every day for the last two months in the military and yes I hate it. It seems like no matter how early I go to bed it's still just as hard to get up as the day before.
I guess you could consider six or seven pretty early but anything before that is just too much.
Wassup, wassup I'm back. I'm pretty excited because I just graduated from US Air Force Basic Training. IT SUCKED! I could type all day about how all the "attention to detail" crap annoys me but I'm just happy to be out and back on a computer. I might post a pic later if I get the time (which...
Your MOTIV type is SOTWV
Your MOTIV+ type is sO|T|xx
Your Primary type is Thinking
S(68%)O(84%)T(85%)W(51%)V(51%)
I was a lot more decisive in my choices than normal on this test because of the sliding scale, although it's really just the same as an agree, strongly agree type etc.
Neurotypicals just don't know any better when it comes to the spectrum. That's one of the more frustrating aspects of Asperger's. It is what it is. It feels as if I have to make use of the benefits of the double-edged sword that is Asperger's to have that "label" accepted without judgment...
I don't think they want to admit that they just like the show. They want to defend that fact by giving objective reasons for watching it. In this case with the OP (before being merged) he just wants to obsess over MLP with other people who like the show. I do it all the time with sports...
That's funny I noticed the exact same thing. I don't even think they threw in a single kick in there. Just straight up fist on fist boxing, except the one body slam by Bane. There was a couple times too when Bane was throwing "WWE" punches (if you know what that looks like) lol.
I guess...
Caution Spoilers.
Just saw it and I thought it was really good. I don't feel it was as psychological as the second movie but I liked it for other reasons. The acting was good and I liked each character especially Alfred. I always respect the voice of reason and he was willing to be...
Just because we haven't seen the show doesn't mean we don't understand. You are talking to open minds you know. My thing is the message is good "people need friends, etc." but the concept (ponies, female audience, pink, hairstyles etc.) is a major turnoff. That seems obvious though. But...
Re: INTPs and My Little Pony: FiM
Why should I care that you like a show that I don't?
Why should you care that I don't like a show that you like?
I don't see the correlation between Fe and... MLP. Any INTP can have friends. Just because one is introverted doesn't mean one is incapable of...
From my experience black people are Most E, S, F, and J. And an enormous tendency towards S and J. Makes my life hell I'll tell ya.
NPs are so rare that I always second guess myself when I read them.
I find whites/latinos harder to read. But they're more likely to be introverted than...
