How often do you socialize?

I am only slightly more introverted than extroverted at the moment. I used to be totally anti-social, but now I have woked my way up to being able to talk to just about anyone.

I still hate being in social gatherings and trying to meet new people when I am not at work. I feel very odd talking to anyone if I don't have a reason that I need to start up a conversation.

I have been trying to work on my social skills though, because there is a definate strategic advantage to those that can meet people and make them feel comfortable around them.

Being antisocial may be the nature of an INTP, but it is also illogical, and being logical should always come before being antisocial in my opinion.

Depends on my situation really. Right now I'm living in a building with dorm rooms full of 17 to 25 year olds so I'm going out pretty much everyday of each weekend. Yesterday I went bowling drunk and managed a 61 my second game when the liquor was really kicking in lol.

I expect when I move to the southeast white sandy beaches I'll be even more "sociable". I do enjoy getting drunk and what not so it should be fun. I'm not a big fan of just regular hangouts where we just talk and BS about whatever, that usually bores me after a certain period of time. I only really like hanging out with people I know to at least some extent.

During the week I do some small talking and occasionally go to lunch with someone but I don't make a habit out of it. I prefer not to do anything that feels like a chore instead of doing it to have fun so I'll usually surf the web during the week as usual.
