[Inappropriate Behavior]

I am going to make the bold and perhaps presumptuous assertion that the INTP forum is once again a safe harbor and vibrant community. Sanity has been restored by official decree!
Even though I don't have any official standing to make such a decree, I do it anyway.

Even though we can only presume why some long time members are nowhere to be seen of late, we can always hope that there is a remedy and we have attained it. I probably shouldn't have called it sanity since we aren't sane and God willing we never will be but you get my point right?

So now it is time to summon forth the ones we've been missing. It worked for bringing back Decaf (Thank you Noddy!) so let's see if it can work on others. I'm not going to attempt to list all the missing because in doing so, I'd leave someone out inadvertantly and then feel bad about it. So it is the job of every club member to summon one (per post) and only one (per post) and see if we can't magically bring back our lost bretheren.

I'll go first of course and summon back grey matters. No one kept me on my toes with the games of oneupmanship in the FUN threads. COME BACK!

Kidege left purposely and has no intention of coming back (though I don't think I should say why), and snail is housekeeping for a 93 year-old Chippewa Indian (staying there and helping him in exchange for food/housing). She might be back in a month or two, however, because he promised to get a laptop if he survives his cancer treatment (which starts very very soon, if not already) and recovers.

I would very much like to bring back a few creatures from the old days, and I would like to make a personal effort to see that happen.
I guess the best I can do is send them irritating emails.

A month is not a long time, is it? But it does allow for distance. I see no reason to keep the why I left a secret. It was a mix of the not so friendly atmo (glad to see the friendliness restored) and the semipublic fight I had with Anthile.

I think Cinna was bit disappointed in things here - he expressed a little discontent with the feedback and pace he was getting it... specifically on the history topics he added, I think.

My guess is his expectations were high and unfortunately dashed. It's a shame as he was bringing some very interesting ideas and threads into the site. Socializer's remorse, in particular, is one of the most important things any INTP could become aware of by visiting this site - and Cinna was the one to introduce it.

If he doesn't ever return, I think he deserves a toast in commemoration, at least.

Actually, he's a Tolowa, but that's close enough. His expenses during treatment have depleted his savings, even with his insurance covering the radiation itself. I probably won't be getting a computer for a while unless someone just gives me a used laptop with wireless internet capabilities. The one I was supposed to be getting from a friend turned out to be un-fixable. I miss all of my friends, but I've been dealing with the isolation by staying busy. I have some acquaintances in real life to help me through this lonely time, even though I have no satisfyingly deep connections with any of them.
