Thanks! :)
I've been playing for quite a while...eleven years, I think. It's great fun to play, and definitely helps me let off steam after working/studying too much. I'm sure you're pretty good too!

Yeah you are really good! I just putter on most instruments aside from my bass guitar, and no one listens to just the bass lol. And don't feel bad, I am definitely not on the people that can sing XD

I'm gonna keep Jaico in my living room, glued to a piano bench. As soon as I get a piano, that is.

Such pleasant people here aye? Zephyri only wants to glue you to a piano bench and hold you captive to play piano in her home forever. XD

I just realised I like Ninja's snapvine.

ViS's guitar work was nice as well.

Here's another one I did a few weeks ago. Hope my slightly-better-than-average voice is somewhat enjoyable. I'm just a loser with karaoke level talent.

Saffy wanted me to post a song in this thread, so I figured I'd give it a shot! It can be found on her snapvine for those interested.

Hey cool, a musical part of the site........ the following is why I produce music rather than sing it. It was done as a musical challange to promote "getting out of your comfort zone". The song is by a musical buddy of mine, Scott Campbell, great songwriter, who allowed a bunch of guys to wreck his uplifting song. "Champion"..........

cheers, niteshift

I'm not a 50s guy, just a gamer. This song still stuck with me for a few reasons though.

So ziggy, want a boyfriend?

(You don't sound anything like you write.)

Wait, you sang an american classic? Don't you get burned at the stake for that? Either, really.

OK, Segata Sanshiro didn't work out, so now I just uploaded the Tetris melody on piano.

Edit: Added another crappy piano piece, of which I don't know the title.

Piano just isn't really my biggest strength. :P

Edit: added one more song, with 2 mistakes, but I'm too lazy to record it again...

I've lost count of the number of times I've listened to Jaico's recording in an attempt at sanity. I especially love your opening.

Aww. :o:smiley_emoticons_mr

Thanks again...I've posted up two more pieces (actually, all three that I've posted were recorded for a competition of sorts). The two I've just posted are a Chopin Nocturne (Op. 15, No. 2) and the first movement of Bach's Italian Concerto. It's interesting - listening to them now, I can pick out all sorts of things I don't like/I think I should've played differently...

Heh, chopin - only a matter of time.

Liked both of them as well. I can see where there'd be areas of improvement too but they're pleasant.

moar plz

Fukyo, that singing was in no way horrible! Maybe you were a bit off-pitch, but you have a very nice voice. :) By the way, what song were you singing? It sounded familiar. (Sorry if you already mentioned the name, I'm too lazy to go back and check...)

Your cute dolphin avatar is the only thing saving your butt now. :beatyoukitty::D

Also, that emoticon is too cute, damn you... >.>

Ok, don't mind me, I just like to threaten people with violence for the heck of it. :(

Ooops, ninja.

Agreed. I love accents in general, actually.

Somehow, tone deafness and perfect pitch are two of my favourite(?!) 'things'. I'm a weird one. :p

Exactly! That's what I told her... but she still doesn't like it.
Perhaps we will cure her delusions with peer pressure.

Yay for positive peer pressure!

Was the *coughTSUNDEREcough* about her voice or her avatar?

Okay I guess I'm going to look dumb asking this but I looked around for half an hour and couldn't figure it out.

What is the IRC?

and I'll post a voice as soon as a figure out what I want to do

*edit
Okay I've found the IRC thread thingy so now I sort of know what is going on. I'm still thinking about what to sing though.
