So my mum, in her infinite knowledge of me made me a great offer for my half term: A bed and breakfast somewhere fairly remote and quiet, with a pub near me for meals (think small english village) basically she's offered me isolation for about a week, obviously I'll have to order food and stuff , but essentially I won't have to talk to anyone or hold a conversation. Now this sounds like absolute heaven to me, I love the idea of not having to talk to anyone for a week, I'm also curious to see if my own thoughts will be sufficient to entertain me. Or if I'll have to resort to books, my phone and the internet to keep me sane, as a personal experiment I'm going to try to use them as little as possible. I'm really curious as to the effect it will have on me basically.
To get to the point, I was curious how fellow INTP's would feel about being completely isolated for a week? Obviously we all love our alone time, but a week or longer? All my friends expressed horror at the very idea
. I go to boarding school and therefore am stuck with people 24/7, which is pretty tiresome.
