Your general appearance: clothes, mustache, earrings, sunglasses, hats, boots, etc..

I just use whatever my cousin would've thrown out, the clothes don't have holes and are of high quality. I prefer high quality clothes used by him than cheap clothes that feel like shit when you put them on.

If I'd have to choose, I'd take a T-shirt that's somewhat technology-related or has a smart-ass comment on it along with some quality fiber jeans and sneakers. And a watch instead of an old mobile phone. If it's colder, a leather jacket would suffice, and if it's really cold, a coat would be nice instead. If I'm inside and it's cold, I might take a fancy costume instead, unless it'd be uncomfortable when I'd try it on, I haven't tried on a costume yet.

I dislike flashy colors or trademarks on the clothes. I also dislike most new-age clothes, like jeans with holes or with a bunch of metal shit sticking out of them. My cousin gave me those recently, I'm wearing the old stuff. I also don't have a color preference, just blue, natural-looking jeans.

Right now I've a goatee and a mustache, but only because I've no shaving tools, otherwise I'd trim once a week or so, when the hair would begin to annoy me. I wouldn't be the clean-faced dude who spends half an hour in front of a mirror, that's an annoying and boring way of wasting time. My hair's long-ish, if I wouldn't have dandruff, I'd swipe it back, most likely with no gel, as that'd look weird.

P.S. If you're like me and don't have a reasonable choice for some reason, include not only how you are, but also how you would be if it was to your choice. No "I'd be nude"-like stuff, be serious. :elephant:
P.P.S. I'd like to keep this one post per user, so try to be descriptive the first time you post. Better management for readers I'd say.

Grey jeans, white leather slip-on shoes, grey undershirt short-sleeve, black & silver collared shirt short-sleeve, short hair spiked a little at the front, and a goatee minus the moustache so it's just the lower jowl area and tapering off to a point under each cheek, it looks different but not too outlandish and it's relatively low maintenance; speaking of which my shoes are a bit scuffed so I really should replace them, because y'know they say a man's shoes say a lot about the man, a man who looks after his shoes looks after himself, and would replace them, except the saying's quite right and I don't really care enough to go replacing a perfectly functional pair of shoes simply because they don't look so nice as they once did.

*sigh* It's my fault for wearing white shoes I suppose.

Awful.
I wear standard clothes. Jeans, shorts, sneakers, tshirts, etc. No flashy colours, but not too grey. Prefer dark tints. Most of my tshirts have something written on them, but no actual sentences anyone reads, other than one pullover that says : Eat Sleep Play. My friend got it for me, cause it made me think of her, and it pretty much applies. (Pness?)

I don't shave daily, but my facial hair is thick and grows awfully fast, meaning i'll have (barely) visible stubbles by the end of the day if i shave in the morning. I'll often not shave for up to a week, then it gets too bad and starts to bother me. I'll almost always shave off my mustache, cause it bothers me in general. I do shower quite often, because i find it terribly relaxing to think under the shower.

In general, the clothes I buy are carefully picked to make sure I don't stand out much, and they are as comfortable as possible. I won't buy flashy stuff, I won't buy stuff that bothers me wearing it, no matter how 'pretty'. I don't look like an absolute dork, because that would stand out aswell. I just look rather plain and boring, but just another normal guy, if you'd compare all my everyday clothing.

Right now: hair up, khakis, short sleeve polo shirt, socks (shoes off at the door, please). I usually wear jeans or khakis. I don't like printed t-shirts unless it's from some athletic event and then I just wear those to the gym. I like classic, quality clothes without visible labels whenever possible, in subdued hues, with the exception of a strong red.

long hair, shave once a week; I do jog and try to stay in slim shape;

plaint white t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, zipper hoody; shorts, and sweats preferable; comfort comes before fashion; I wear a beanie 24/7 and only cut my hair when it gets so long it won't fit in the beanie anymore;

I wear 1 pair of jeans 90% of the time and only switch when I have to wash that pair of jeans; I wear my 1 pair of sneakers until they get seriously worn out, develop holes and stuff;

Tall and thin but unathletic. My hair is usually resembles bed hair, and I shave every 2-4 weeks. I look like a hipster, not because I want to stand out, but because my clothes are worn for their function only. I'll often have a bunch of holes in my shirts and jeans just from the longevity of their service. I rarely wear matching socks, but this again, is simply because it is more effort to pair them. I have no preference for brandnames/non-brandnames, I pick up most of my clothes from opportunistic purchaces at opshops or at clearance sales. I often wear women's jeans and jackets just because they seem to fit at the time and I have difficulty telling the difference.

Long hair (to the chest) with big natural and wavy corkscrew curls, and some longer stubs, bordering to a full grown beard. I have a unique approach to what makes clothes appealing, and I have a unique look. Not that I'm really interested or actually care about how I look, It just turned out that way.

I usually wear a leather jacket with a hood underneith, and puffy jeans with a belt and leather shoes. For headwear, if I need it, I use a buff. Either as a headband, hairband or as a bandana. Cellphone in my left front pocket of my jeans, my nicotine in the right. Cards and money go to the left inside pocket of the jacket.

I have good looks, but I'm not photogenic for shit. (I've had this confirmed ;) )

Edit: NO, for gods sake! Not puffy jeans. Baggy jeans. What the hell!

Summer-ish months: Khaki pants and t-shirts... Everyday, (un)fortunately(?).

Winter-ish months : Sweat pants, preferably black/grey/darker tones, with a t-shirt and hoodie. ... Once again, everyday, (un)fortunately(?).

I find that I have little interest and even less means to support my fashion statement.

Longish highlighted hair, basic makeup (low-key foundation, black eyeliner), eclectic jewelry (earrings, rings, sometimes bracelet or watch).

Right now I've just got a basic long-sleeve v-neck plain shirt, low-cut bell-bottoms, black sandals, and a khaki vest-jacket on (and I work a high-end tech job for the gov, the dress code is pretty varied here -- yesterday I wore a dress and short sweater). I have my nails done in a metallic blue, four of which have now peeled off but I didn't have the heart to strip off the other gels yet, which are pretty durable.

Usually I like casual -- T-shirt that something witty or artsy on it, jean shorts. I like jeans a lot. In the winter I'll wear various types of boots (heels/flats, black/brown/grey, etc.) I like short skirts because my legs are long. I like looking nice, but I don't like feeling over-produced or overly made up... and the reality is that if I try to look picture-perfect, I can't anyway; I'm naturally more relaxed and slightly dissheveled no matter how hard I try.

Dangly earrings are probably one of my specific jewelry weaknesses, I just love 'em. Although I don't wear them if I'm doing something active (hiking, etc.)

Getting my hair highlighted red on Saturday, for kicks.

My left ear has four piercings in it at this point -- two normal, one helix, and one conch. I might get more at some point.

I like long hair, planning to have them in pony tail when I'll live alone.

Shaved head just looks odd to me, and short hair gets on my nerves when they are in they are disturbing my vision but I can't adjust them yet... I don't like barber shops either, waste of time, so I go there rarely, both for monetary issues and because I don't feel like wasting 2 hours...

Long dark hair (natural colour at the moment, I used to colour it all the time out of sheer boredom) which I trim myself as I find hairdressers outlandishly expensive, minimal make-up (sheer mineral powder and a little mascara so I don't look too terrible at work), short fingernails, no polish. Straight legged or tight faded or black jeans, fitted merino hoodies and jumpers, usually black or.....black.

I do have some nice vintage (20's style) dresses, shoes and boots, but rarely get an opportunity to dress up anymore as I have more or less become a hermit. :slashnew:

All I need now are some cats...

Well, you've done one job for me. :D Except I'm not tall, average-ish.

I won't stop wearing a pair of trainers or jeans until they're literally ****ed. My current shoes have acquired holes underneath the toes so that they get continually splashed in the rain. They got a few months in them yet. :phear:

Otherwise, I just wear jeans & jumpers or shirts. I dress to be invisible. :cat:

I am lean and tall. My hair is of medium length, I usually cut it short when it grows to a certain length and let it grow to "certain length" again and repeat. I shave every 1-2 weeks or so. I usually wear a simple t-shirt, jeans, socks and shoes. The socks tend to be hole-ridden. My style is very simple, I don't even consider it a style; I simply wear clothes. I don't care too much about fashion or making much out of myself on a visual basis. I can however appreciate certain types of wear: I like dress shoes f.e.

Brown curly hair, lately I've been keeping it short. Body type of a <400m sprinter, bronze skin after a while in the sun, pronounced cheek and jaw bones, 5'10... I wear any pair of pants or shorts that fits me well, but I always wear only black shorts and blue or black denim Jeans. I wear plain colored shirts, and when it's cold I wear hoodies with internet memes on them, and sometimes wear stylish sunglasses. I almost always have vans on. I'm not an everyday smoker, but when I do I usually have an e-cig or menthols. I only smoke menthols, unless it's American spirit. I randomly smile when I think of a funny idea. I often look like i'm up to no good.

Tall, and built along the lines of an all-pro NFL linebacker. Short hair that I keep neat, mostly for work and a single gold hoop earring in my right ear. Mustache and goatee; shave once or twice a week, again, mostly for work. I tend to wear simple clothes in dark subdued colors with a focus on function rather than style. In the winter months I add a leather, thigh length coat.

Short brown hair, 5'10'' and 150 lbs. Pretty muscular. I wear pretty casual clothing--shorts, t-shirt, dark blue jeans, anything that's not to bright or flashy. Always have stubble since my beard grows extremely fast. Had a full beard since I was 16. I look like I'm in my 30's though I'm only 21.

Interesting thread.

In the summer, I can't be bothered with anything, I just keep it to the same clothes as long as it's small and won't keep me hot. I hate the heat.

In the winter, depending on my mood I vary from very grunge, ripped jeans, old t-shirts cardigans etc...to the other extreme which is 5O's lauren bacall, classy coats and suits (Ihave a pair of elbow length leather gloves which I like to wear under a black coat with three quarter length sleeves.) and red lipstick. Also heeled boots. I love suits as well. My ideal would be something in between but I can't seem to combine the two styles, I'm thinking frances farmer just out of the asylum :D a mix of grunge and class.

I smoke alot, long brown hair I won't cut (because I hate the hairdressers, strangers rubbing your head eugh) a few freckles, green eyes.

Idon't mind how I look, mostly because although I find it amusing dressing up, it's not what I care most about.

Done. I wonder if that was boring to read?

as I find hairdressers outlandishly expensive

short fingernails, no polish.

All I need now are some cats...

How much do they cost? I know my cousin's mom pays around 70 bucks monthly, she looks horrible. I pay ~$7 and I look less horrible, or so I think. Hmm... Does messed up hair look more horrible than visible scalp all over your head, intentionally, due to lack of hair?

I respect that, for some reason the long fake nails look so odd to me...

Get out once in a while, there are many cats on the streets, I've heard that in the US it costs now to call the animal control. Soon it'll become like my country, dogs and cats roaming freely in the middle of the city.

I won't stop wearing a pair of trainers

My current shoes have acquired holes underneath the toes so that they get continually splashed in the rain. They got a few months in them yet. :phear:

Trainers? I don't like those. They don't feel right for me... And on other people, they look an average Russian. :D

Doesn't it annoy you? My boots acquired holes in them, I stopped wearing them. It's very uncomfortable.

A pair of boxers, and I'm good to go almost anywhere.

You remind me of quite a few people around here. Soviet style. ;)

The socks tend to be hole-ridden.

Mine too, but if I had a choice, I'd buy a whole bunch of socks all at once. It's uncomfortable to wear socks with holes in them. What's the point of wearing them if half your foot's sticking out of it? :D

I look like Tom Cruise from The Last Samurai if he were sponsored by Holland's Pies.

Armor, sword and shit? :cat:

Doesn't it take a lot of work to shave the shape of a goatee and mustache? I've always wondered about that. The forms always looked quite time-consuming to me, I always thought that people who do it, care a lot about how they look. Though, judging from the earring, it seems like you might care a little too.

Always have stubble since my beard grows extremely fast. Had a full beard since I was 16. I look like I'm in my 30's though I'm only 21.

Perhaps that's your picture on the right?

I actually prefer the heat over the cold. Maybe because it's 10-15C inside during the winter. Although, at times, I do find the heat to be extremely uncomfortable. Not when it's at it's highest too, I've spend a lot of time in over 30 this summer, I believe 33C or so it was inside. Damn hot summer it was...

If your hair's long, they don't have to rub it, just cut your hair. I always hate when they rub your head when their' done, bashing it with a twisting notion. I find that very annoying. Unfortunately, so far, I believe over 10 barbers I went to do that. :beatyou:

Also, I don't think the eye color is actually related to this topic, but it made me think: I don't even know what my eye color is. :D I don't use the mirror too often, and I don't suppose most people around here do, as most have mentioned that they don't care how they look much. It's dark and I most likely will forget it by tomorrow... Oh well.

By "find it amusing," do you mean that you find amusing laying out 10 dresses on your bed and looking at them for an hour? :kilroy: I hope not. I don't think that's possible for an INTP.

I actually wondered the same thing just before creating this thread.

P.S. If you are going to post references to people, either be specific, or link to the image you are referring to, as there are A LOT of images related to that.

P.P.S. Do you know your eye color? If so, have you looked intentionally or has someone told you?

P.P.P.S. It seems that I can't add these two P.S.s to the first post, can't edit it anymore... I wonder if there are any mods in this forum who could help out with that?

Southeast Asian. I'm a 158 cm (5'2'') with medium-long straight black hair, reaching about 15 cm below the shoulder. Big boned, lightly tanned skin, and eyes somewhat a lighter shade brown that most people of my race. I'm neither thin nor overweight (my MBI is 22.8), but I do have some baby fat. I wear glasses though I very much prefer the more comfortable contact lenses.

My country is hot all-year round. I usually just slip on a T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. I do prefer more girly clothes such as dresses and blouses but situations just never call for them.
I love jewelry especially earrings. You would see me have on a pair of earrings or a necklace.

I'm happy with my overall appearance, but I gravely wish to still be growing. I think I look like a bobble head at this height, although I've had people telling me otherwise.

I spend 20 minutes a day maximum on my appearance. Amusing in the sense that it's interesting to vary your appearance and see how people react to you accordingly, people treat you very differently depending on your appearance, it's sad really I suppose...
I particularly enjoy shocking people, although right now I'm in a phase where I just want to be discreet.

I highly doubt there are many INTP's who spend their time looking at dresses and deciding what to wear. Unless it's some kind of experiment :D

Having said all this, it is sometimes just nice to look nice.

@higs Shocking people, oddly enough I've had that idea quite a few times throughout the 12th grade, though didn't do anything about it due to the lack of clothes. On the other hand, people may be shocked when they see my "haircut," and sometimes apathy in my facial expression. :D

Speaking of time, I can get dressed fully (from being completely nude to wearing the shoes) in <30s. Usually takes me around 1m when not in a hurry, take the sunglasses, lock the doors, unlock two other doors 3 times (damn paranoid ISFJs), until I'm out taking a walk. :smoker:

@H1N1 I've seen quite a few pointless posts from you.

Pale, dark brown eyes
Long, dark brown hair, when styled nothing more complicated than a braid, bun or pony tail.
No accessories, no jewelry, bags only when necessary.
Low key make up when worn. Nail polish obligatory.
Fairly plain clothes; pants combined with shirts/blouses/sweaters/turtlenecks/cardigans. Wear dresses and skirts rarely.
Limited choices in footwear; mostly sneakers, boots, flip-flips, sandals, depends on the season.

White male, 6'2", ~200 lbs. Bald up top, with that weird hair on the side where if I go too long between barber visits, I start looking like the boss from Dilbert. I favor horn-rim glasses, for irony's sake.

No tats or piercings. The only people who had those when I was coming up were sailors and Henry Rollins.

When I'm not in my workaday monkey suit, it's pretty much t-shirts and jeans. The more obscure the t-shirt, the better.

I wear tattered clothes because other people dont wear them, and I like wearing things out, I look like a badass with a good heart. dark features and light bone structure, built like a triathlete meets breakdancer, 6.1 with a look of intent about me. I look like a regressed psychokiller, I have a tendency to lock eyes and my smile is sincere. I prefer clean shaved but Ive been know to let my whiskers grow a bit as I tend to touch my face when thinking deeply about somthing. One accessory I never go without is headphones, and I like to play with rubber bands on my wrists. (which I never have a good answer to when asked about it) My demeanor is like John Redcorn meets Dale Gribble and my nervous laugh is like beavus and butthead and my gut buster, knee slapper, tearjerker laugh is like a hyena. my hair is short and wish I had the patience to maintain long hair but my hairs very thick, I am pleased with my appearance but I find it hard to take compliments sometimes only because I overly scrutinize the aesthetics of life and my overcompensation is a cost for my intensive perspective and my attitudes about infinite prospective possibilities:p

Short (5"3),hourglass figure that does NOT go with my height (I hate adolescence), olive skin, round honey eyes, aquiline nose, cheekbones that are starting to become pronounced on my long oval face, and poofy dark auburn botticelli curls.

In the summer/spring I tend to wear jeans, a plain t shirt that is always one color with no logos or a tank top with black worn out sneakers as my choice of footware.
During fall/winter I wear black jeans, a grey, white, or black long-sleeved shirt, with a black coat and silver scarf. The black sneakers are still my choice of footware. Combat boots if it's raining though. I'll wear my shoes/boots till they're literally falling apart.
Right now I have on black jeans, red tank top, no shoes, and my hair refuses to stay put so I'm leaving it loose.

5' 7", Wavy gold hair, hazel eyes, pale skin, athletic but not too skinny. I've been told I look like a renaissance painting of an angel or a siren. I do dress in vintage clothing most of the time, Nataya was one of my favorite designers when I was a teenager. I'm more into business clothes as of late, slacks and blouses. I like the color blue, but red is nice too, so is black. Occasionally I'll geek out and wear my star trek or Einstein apparel. Besides that, I really don't do anything to my hair, wear jewelry, etc.

Short auburn hair, close to light brown with an orange tint. Clean-cut and styled to look a little messy/trendy. High cheekbones, hazel eyes, 5'10. Clean-shaven most days, tidy stubble on days off.

For work I dress business formal, with a slightly more casual jacket. Suit pants with a good shirt. Usually wear a duffle coat, since it can be worn from casual to formal. Have 3 at the moment. Two black with different styles, one grey. I never wear a tie.

Black shoes. Never wear shoes lighter than the colour of your suit, looks awful.

Always wear a good belt. Unassuming design, but classy and suitable for formal events.

Have about 12 or so shirts, generally buy one as they get old, ranging from $30 to $100 in price. About 4 casual, 8 business/formal.

Outside of work I usually wear dark jeans, casual shirt worn out with a duffle coat or other jacket. Dark shoes, have a pair of black slip-ons for casual that still look smart, but usually wear shoes. I really like jeans and I wear them most of the time, even around the house.

If I'm just around the house or stepping out to get food or groceries, I dress like a bum. Hoodie, trackies and t shirt with sneakers/runners.

My wardrobe is set up so that I can mix and match anything and still look the part in a formal or casual environment without having to think about what I'm going to wear. I enjoy looking professional at work, and I like to look good in casual without drawing attention.

I find it interesting that out of the 20 or so posts, nobody has posted a pic.

...I'm not offering tho :D
I would post photos, but that would just be for my ego's sake. And it's big enough as it is :phear: Is that strange for an INTP, or is egomania a common occurrence among the introverted?

My photos are never recent, as in this year's.. until last year when relatives hijacked me with their photo-cameras my most recent photos were of several years vintage. Gaps between my pictures are usually measured in years.. not a big loss to the mankind IMHO.

Clothes..wear select few to (their) death. Sometimes buy new ones. Start wearing them after a decade, if they're lucky. Otherwise clean my car with them.

Appearance: nothing spectacular, and getting on in years..which is spectacular. Don't understand all the hysteria associated with ageing.

Shoulder-length brown hair. I rarely style it beyond the very basic. I do color it from time to time, but it's quite close to my natural color. I'm short and thin. I look about 10 years younger than I really am. Minimal make-up. No nail polish, but polished and buffed. No jewelry except for my watch. I try to remember to wear my wedding band and ring, but sometimes I forget. My clothes are usually dark colors, like dark blue, black, brown. When I want to stand out, I will wear red lipstick, or maybe one bright piece of clothing, but that's about how far it goes.

i like to think that i look like one of those poor people in countries that had been bombed to pieces, around 1916 or 1945. protective features such as stand up collar or patches, sometimes a cap or hood. unskilled repair work. generally worn out, shredded, unwashed. on top of that molded in a faded dusty black, replacing the conformist colors of a new uniform jacket with the dark abyss of post conformism. additionally all of my clothes are at least one size too big, to symbolize that i intend to continue development. i wear the same every day, more or less, a few similar things. i wear a mala. it should be very clear, that i'm not a regular member of this society, or any fashionable subculture, albeit i don't mind borrowing aspects from subcultures (goa, skater, punk). i'm not a regular tasteless bum either, who wears anything he can get, i have my own dream. all of my clothing has been dead cheap, but i wear 200 bucks ever lasting mountain boots.

I attempted to write out what I look like earlier today, but it ended up sounding either like I was putting myself down or trying too hard to make myself sound like I look pretty like this is a dating site or something.

So, whatever. I'll just go ahead and be the first (I think) to post a picture.

or a couple recent pictures

Oh, here is me with a black eye after my best friend (an ENFP) and I got in a drunken fight about politics some years back

movie in my head: two entp beating each other up over who get's to be the one entp, since There Can Only Be One, and all. but due to equal powers they have to settle for a compromise or fight for ever. so no one get's to be The One Entp, yet. instead each one settles one letter apart. :smoker: stay tuned for the next battle, though ...

Vans, slim jeans, a plain grey shirt and a plain grey hoodie. If only a pack of smokes could go along with it.

Why do you need a backpack? I never understand people walking around with backpacks...

@MissQuote Congratulations, you've beaten the rest of us. You deserve a medal. :D

Hm, just had a thought: if I had a photo of me, I still wouldn't post it anywhere. I don't like the idea of my photo being somewhere available to people, it contains personal data SOMEWHERE anyway.
