Okay. My vote will stand the same.
A few notes from me in the event I get killed off in 20 minutes:
cheeseum I'd try to not take too strong offense at hado's grilling. This is just my interpretation but I don't think hado honestly believed the town was going to follow through on lynching you at this late stage of the game (for one thing this has been the most inactive time of the day, I honestly expect that not enough votes are going to go through and anyone reading now is essentially making the decision of whether a lynch occurs btw.)
If he actually wants a lynch its obviously better to go with the more established choice, which he's just done, than try and start a new one.
The grilling has value in itself, it tests a suspicion. Ultimately, I expect it to be the case that anyone remotely suspect will experience the same grilling at some point, and it should be welcomed. It's necessary and a good thing, only mafia in reality should fear interrogation.
A) We see how people react under strong pressure, go too soft and its too easy to squeeze loose.
B) We get to see who defends who and importantly who doesn't and stays out of it.
What I've been realising is that this isn't a game of isolating individual people. We're working against a team who are communicating with each other, and have a strategy. When we catch a mafia we want to be able to catch the others through them easily, and that means forcing everyone to interact with each other in a variety of subtle and sometimes underhanded ways.
While I'm saying this now, there's a reason I am, this can't always be spelled out to you. Hado, RB, or whoever can't spell this out to you while they're doing it, as the aim is to catch someone out, and if they know what's happening as its happening the entire effect is killed.
Basically, the pattern I'm seeing is that someone votes on someone or pressures someone (namely rb & hado) and then immediately everyone comes in accusing the antagonist for being antagonistic as if the most pro-town behaviour is to be passive. (I genuinely think it could be the case that sinny and esc are simply new and not being deliberately mafia-ish on this.) We have to be if we're going to win. Its simply purely defensive to be attacked by hado and then try to attack him. It might preserve your place in the game, but its not pro-town. If you're going to do it, do it properly and thoroughly grill him on all your suspicions in the way he has. If you have suspicions its important you do.
I don't know it for certain as I can't, but I'd place RB and Hado in my most confident townie spots. Hado probably first. It seems to me the way they've played it is most pro-town, whether they're mafia or not, and least likely to be mafia. Why? Because its the highest gambit game for mafia to play to try and be the influential townies.
For myself, I think they've established the strongest behaviour to emulate. I hope its understood that I'm naturally a very agreeable and diplomatic person, and to a large extent this is because I actually physically squirm and shudder 'fuck' under my breath at the thought of upsetting someone. It makes me really uncomfortable. I've been trying to get up to speed with the game and how I think it should be played, but I hope I can up my game in the next round and get to answer anyone if they comment on this.
