He realized my true intention; the destruction and recreation of worlds. I made him perfect from birth. He is my favorite, so I gave him power. He is the successor of my will. So you see I was never 'possessed,' I only doted on my protege. I admit, him being a sexy charismatic beast helped though.

EDIT: Jenova is not technically Sephy's mom. Her cells were used to genetically engineer him. Lucrecia is his mom. whoops spoilers.....

You can't redeem Sephiroth. That would completely mess up his character. I was so terrified AC was going to do that.

Actually, redeeming Seph seems logical. Crisis core reveals him to be a nice guy, and after Dirge of Cerberus , Genesis needs something to do... I also see Zack having a bigger part in future midgar related adventures, and he was after all friends with him...Of course, his rep as a bad guy means they won't risk it.... I just think that another comeback and defeat will be silly...

Don't talk to me about Genesis; please I like to pretend he doesn't exist(along with most of the expanded plotline). The whole Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth are bestest friends plotline depressed me. Though I guess it gave them a good excuse for the junion cannon cinematic scene. I bet their pay was docked for that.

It was a simulation who cares!? It was a good story, it linked various characters, and expanded on Sephiroths past... Also: Reading Cows posts in this thread makes me sad... I require something shaped vaguely like him to cuddle....

You can't redeem Sephiroth. That would completely mess up his character.

If Sephiroth was to be redeemed he would require further character development to prevent decay, or possibly a powerful temptation to return to his evil ways.
