Right behind you, sipping tea.
Neither I nor any of my INTP friends wear shoes when being barefoot is at all a possibility. As in... outside in the grass, at school, going for walks/running, while working (if allowed), during choir practice... we never have shoes on.

What about you all? Do you wear shoes?

I think shoeless doesn't

I love getting my feet on the grass when it's hot. At home I hate wearing shoes. I'm always wearing a slipper.

I only wear shoes for work or if i'm worried about dropping something on my feet (tools, furniture, etc.), otherwise I definitely prefer no shoes.

I prefer bare feet for grass and carpet (and driving, though illegal for some stupid reason), socks for tiles, flip flops for pavement.

I won't if I don't have to. I like to stick my feet into mud and feel it between my toes. Unfortunately, I work with heavy machinery so I have to wear uncomfortable steel toe shoes.

Another thing, I can't understand how some people can wear socks to bed.

It has to be extremely cold before I'll do that. YUCK!

I don't exactly go out of my way to take of my shoes the minute It's possible to be barefoot. But I love being barefoot, even socks have to get off.

Actually when I wear socks too long the hair around my ankles get very irritated. So I guess I'm siding with the barefoot, hehe.

I am brarefoot right now. I love being barefoot, I like to feel the texture and support of the earth and surfaces beneath me, in the summer nearly the only time I put shoes on is if I must go somewhere, then sometimes I only bring them with me, or if I am doing work where shoes are practical.

I prefer boots, if I am going to be shoed I think it should be properly functional. Though, of course flipflops are awesome too, and I'll wear other shoes, not just ONLY boots, I am not a shoe nazi.

My husband complains because I only remember to paint my toenails about once every two years or so.

Interestingly, my nine year old son, who typed ITP on this http://www.personalitypage.com/html//cgi-local/build_pqk.cgi
test is perpetually barefoot. It is actually a joke amongst my friends how quickly he tears them off at the first opportunity, even in the dead of winter. Runs across gravel barefoot and everything.

I'm too lazy to tie up and untie my shoes all the time, so I'm wearing my shoes a lot. Even indoors, like an American. A real American.

My floor is too disgusting to be barefoot on. I used to walk around barefoot in the summer.

I don't have a rule that I live by, I keep them on or take them off automatically. On a related note, I just thought of house-hovering shoes - as a convenience to and from rooms.

I don't wear shoes at home, I wear shoes everywhere else. Except pools and other people's homes and such of course, haha.

I have hated shoes since I was very young. I take them off when I get inside, even at the office. Sometimes I don't even put them back on to walk down the hall. Have gotten some interesting looks.

Not if I can get away with it. School stopped caring. Socks when going to sleep isn't so bad.

The other day I told my coworker I needed a job I could
do from home so that I wouldn't have to wear shoes.

I have work leather shoes.
I have formal leather shoes.
I have runners.
I have casual shoes.
I have steel capped work boots.
I have army boots.

A set of shoes assign to specific tasks! Never shall they be worn in the wrong circumstance.

Ohh! I also have gloves! A pair for paintball and a pair for kendo.

I have a pair of dog-chewed, heavy, black vegetable leather boots that I wear most of the time. And the only old pair of skate shoes that fit me for when I'm just popping out to the garden for a smoke. I never skated, but I hung out with people who did.

I lied before, I do wear shoes.

A friend at university decided shoes were unnecessary and spent a few days walking around without them, though, on the streets. I think he realised fairly quickly that they were necessary.

First instinct when I step in the door is to kick my shoes off.
It's kind of unfortunate when I'm wearing shoes that actually take some effort to get off, because I might just stand there kicking at the air for a few seconds before I remember.

I have to try to figure out when it's acceptable to take off my shoes outside the house...often when I'm walking around town (it's a small farm community) I go barefoot, and if I know I'm going to be in the same room for a while then usually the shoes come off.

It's not really an obsessive thing...I just would rather not have shoes on.

Apparently I've hated shoes since I was 3. My mom said I kicked them off and ran around the Hawaiian airport as if I owned the place.

I STILL HATE SHOES
