Does anyone know what the percentage of suicides are committed by introverts and what percentage are committed by extroverts? It would be interesting if E's committ suicide more because they can get lonlier much more easily.
They had this topic on PersonalityCafe.
INTP's were the owl.
I wanted to find a link to it...but it seems PC forum is down right now.
It was really interesting what animals represented the other types.
Edit: Here is another link...but it's not quite the same as the one they had in...
Yes, but IB. But in that instance, the great general leading the cannon fodders would never be put at risk. His life is more important the the lives of thousands that are going to die under his leadership.
Are animals smart enough to have their own personality type? If they do, is there a test for them? Maybe just some animals? Which animals do you think?
I was thinking maybe dolphins, apes, dogs, and cats are smart enough to have their own personality.
This thread is fun...:p
Is the life of one great person more important than thel ives of millions?
Are the lives of people like Albert Einstein, Theodore Roosevelt, or Michael Jacksons worth more than millions of others? Maybe even billions?
These are the kind of "great persons" that move society and cultures...
AI! How dare you disagree with an idea I just made up when writing that post! Arrrgh! Darn U!
LoL..actually I was listening to Bones by the killers. I was kind of picturing each mbti type as a different color skeleton, and the muscles and skin we develop over the skeleton are our life...
If I turn my body clock-wise, I must turn it back to normal, counter-cockwise, then back to normal.
AI. Yea most of my quirks are symmetry based.
Are these little OCD quirks signs of INTP'ness?
1. I never step on a crack. My left and right feet must cross a crack/line in pavement equally.
2. I count to 10 ten on my fingers all day. I starting with my middle finger to my thumb(1-3), then my ring finger to my thumb(4-6), then my index to my pinky(7-10). I will also replace the...
Tests can only take you so far. Types only show you your basic self. There comes a time, when you have to take a step back, observe yourself, and then really figure out who you are.
I think of MBTI "types" as skeletons. We are so much more than skeletons, don't you agree? Tests can only...
What's the point of repairing the damage. It will probably just happen again. We need to fix the problem before we can repair any damages. It is like rebuilding a city in the middle of a hurricane.
You have got to be a J type to actually to through with all that crap. I mean, I could definitely think it up. I think up crazy shit like that all the time. But to actually go through with it. No.
That is very interesting BM.
Maybe some of us are extroverts who contemplate too much, making us seem like INTP's? I myself feel like I am an extrovert sometimes.
Just saw the movie. It was too sappy and predictable for my liking.
One lesson I did learn from that movie is that it is possible to find happiness again once you lose it. To me that lesson means a lot.
The character seemed like an E type before the accident and then later on an INTJ.
I figure this post would work with this thread too.
Imagine a huge dam. The dam is my rational thinking side. It holds in the HUGE amount of water which represent my emotions. My emotions are constantly trying to break the dam. When things in life effect my emotions, the water starts spilling...
Let me paint a metaphor for how I deal with emotions.

I don't know who I am anymore. I think once again I have grown too big for my skin and am currently in my shedding phase. <---Damn that's a good metaphor.
I was just watching Friends.
Joey - ESFP
Ross - INTJ
Chandler - INTP
Rachel - ESTP
Monica - ESxJ
Phoebe - ENFP
They're a very good mix of friends.
I wonder if actors use personality types to better define their characters? That would be interesting.
