What do you mean, are you stuck in the 60s/70s?

If you can give an idea of what you like, I can recommend some other stuff.

The sequence of posts is actually an allegory for what led up to my current state of affairs. What a story :smiley_emoticons_mr

But anyway, I've generally had it with the 80s-today (except electronica, which I have yet to really explore. Cue ESC).

Ever tried the regression, going back before the handover? 40s, 50s.. the party hardly started, everyone's still fresh as daisies, plenty to choose from. That is if you're going for vocals, imo instrumental music is less tiring especially when feeling audio-hangover-ish

It may be depression? When I am depressed I cannot appreciate what I normally like. Sometimes having a break will eventualy lead to a need of listening to something, while you still cling to the purpose experiencing no need at the moment?

Given how old this thread is, viewing its recent necromancy and being hit with new music is like a nice refreshing rain, even if it is powerviolence. :D The original sequence in and following the OP was a musical microcosm of rapid cycling bipolar.

My most recent transition has been from Tech N9ne back into NIN, which I haven't been into since high school.

Beautiful. I'm just starting to get back into heavier music to fuel my fire. I find that heavy metal and all things related gives me a different type of confidence boost (here I am talking about the psychological again, but that's just who I am :P).

I can't listen to love music because it reminds me of mine. I was the hopeless romantic in high school. Now I'm the stone cold, lawyer-minded type. ;)
