Cheesecake, definitely. I'm also a fan of the quintuple chocolate mousse cakes that are oh-so-good.

But yes I also prefer cheesecake, although carrot/pineapple cakes are good too, and it's hard to complain about anything that has more than seven layers of chocolate. IMHO though pies and cobblers are really where it's at.

Cakes could use more peanut butter.

I like apple crumble cake though, and cherry vlaai(some sort of dutch cherry pie, no whip cream or anything, just dough and delicious delicious jello-y sweet jam-y cherry stuff.

Good chocolate ice cream is the best, bad chocolate ice cream can't be called food. With most flavours, the industrial stuff is passably good, but with chocolate you need to get it right or it's a war crime.

Carrot Cake or Banana Cake probably. I always used to make banana cake as a kid, loved it. Last time I made one was back in January in Poland, randomly, and I even made a banana-cream icing for it. Turned out quite well I think

Coffee Cake and Black Forest Gateux can also be very good but they can also be pretty bad, too..
