It would be kind of silly if I didn't. I only go for headphones though. Something about the presence of ambient noise just drives me insane. Only thing I'm missing is the fully body experience of the subwoofer (my headphones do have same damn good subs, but it's just localized to my head).

My basement is completely soundproofed for exactly this reason. I have this one little room off in the corner. No windows, a single lamp in the middle.
