Into Sigur Ros lately. Post-rock melodic. Some amazing music.

Their lead singer has a solo album out under the name of Jónsi, and another one with his boyfriend under the name Jónsi & Alex. If you dig his work in Sigur Rós, I think you'll like his solo stuff, as well.

I agree. His solo album is very up-tempo, and in English, so it's a pretty big departure and might be slightly off-putting. That said, I think the album is amazing.

Recently I've found myself enjoying some commercial songs, to my initial despair:

Lady GaGa - Bad Romance

Snow Patrol - Set the Fire to the Third Bar
However, I really do like them.

For some reason, Marina and The Diamonds - Are You Satisfied? has been echoing through my head for the past week or so.

I still can't get enough of this video of Yann Tiersen:

Yeah, it's great stuff. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like me some Hopelandic every now and then, but hearing the voice of Sigur Rós in English is pretty damn cool.

Sure thing. Hope you enjoy it!

Meanwhile, I've been going on an UNKLE bender. Some of my top picks:
