It's official, I have been a member of this forum for two years and one month...

I am both shocked and dismayed, as I hope you are dear community.

I am certain the feeling is mutual when I say 'Gods, why wasn't I rid of you sooner!?'

I would like to take this chance to do two things, both equally useless, and both iredeemably fun.

One, reminisce, two, forecast.

Gah, it's been a wonderful time, my sweet forum, and I have truly enjoyed it.

I must admit, you have changed me, perhaps for the better.
If there was one thing this forum helped me to do it was rudely express my sexuality.
If there were four things, it would be logical assesment, acceptance of self and my many character flaws(though not approval), and a system whereby i can easily type, analyse, interact with , and subsequently suvert my fellow creatures.

As to the future, I often wonder how the forum might look, whether it will exist, if the members of now will continue to flourish, or be replaced entirely, will we keep to our goals, or will we suddenly decide INTP does not compute and hurriedly switch to following the noble code of the ESFJ?

*Snort*

At current I am making you all a present, I hope you will see the fruits of it soon.

Til then, farewell!

P.s, I am certain the INTP's of the future will look like this, once we get round to world domination.

Here's your gold-plated dalek for all the years of tasteful service, sonny Jim.

Look forward to annihilating your whining ass again some time.

Congrats:) Funny thing, I just thought about starting a similar thread.. not about my relatively short time spent here (time has past fast though), but rather how this forum (or others) might turn out in the future.. can you imagine having been a forum member for 50+ years? And even better, if you could read the posts you posted all those years ago.. kinda disturbing... sorta like a communicational "life" diary :/

It's not that I don't like you it's just that you look so...hopeful.

So, two years huh? How the hell does a person stick around a forum for two whole years anyway? I don't even stay in an apartment for two years.

Actually I'm sort of surprised - I thought it was a fair bit longer than that. 2 years is....well, it's 2 years.

Still though - you're *cough*muchloved*cough* and...uh, ahem :elephant: giddyup!

Crud, I have only been here for 19 months and it is already scary to read some of my old posts. I wonder though how many people actually invest time in the duration of years in staying on a forum like this one... It seems as though there are only twenty or thirty members have stayed as long as I have, why do people move on - just as one gets to know a little bit about them? I chose to stay and adapt to this forum, despite its flawed characters (Nothing personal Melkor), figuring i was a flawed character myself (comes with the territory of being an INTP?)

It's been about a year and a month for me as well. I still can't really believe it.

I wonder what things would have been different if we had never come to the forum.

I am beginning to wonder if you actually own shirts.
Oh your god I'm nekkid, the shame, the horror, the inhumanity!

Actually talking about clothes, a funny thing happened to me today, at work I have to wear suit pants and their trademark polo shirt (yeah I'm in sales, it sucks) so anyway I'm climbing down a ladder, missed a rung, only to land on the next one below it, but this now puts my feet about 4-5 rungs apart, and there's this ripping noise....
On the inside of my leg from my knee to my zipper, the stitching had been torn clean apart, leaving almost nothing to the imagination (except yours of course) and to compound the embarrassment, an unsubtly gay co-worker was standing right beside me.

Compared to that being seen without a shirt is nothing.
I had to walk home, through the city, with staples holding my pants together, mostly.

Mushroom.
Mmmmm mushrooms.

Never before have I simultaneously been jealous of both someone's beard and their ability to go around topless.

Really though it's not #@%&'ing fair; it's gets really hot here! :(

Oooh, Nyx has a bit of an eye for Cog huh? Well -well...

WHEN THE FUCK DID THIS BECOME THE DATELINE THREAD?

Cog, for Godsakes get some clothes, a set of razors and something-anything, to pin back those ears!

Yes, I have been here too long, would anyone be able to suggest a remedy short of lobotomy?

Lor, love the avatar! ^^
Melkor.. put that tongue away, please? < <
Cog - just likes the attention. ;p

What'd be worse is the sudden death of a forum member, thus leaving the forum with no way to ever know they're actually dead..

P.S. Hey! let's all wear our first/original avatars for a week or so, yus? Nyx, maybe we can haz a retro Avatar Theme contest? :3

Hahaha, I noticed Nyx.
I was like 'ooh, cool idea, and she defends it from criticism, but hey...where be the results?'

Auburn couldn't organise a pack of smarties let alone a competition!

I'm sorry Nyx, I hope you three are happy together, that is, Nyx, Oresama, and baby1!:p

This forum must be pretty fresh then. People having spent 10 years as a reg on a forum isn't really that unusual.

"why do people move on - just as one gets to know a little bit about them?!"
Do you think thats the case?
Maybe they have become bored with it.. maybe their interests/persona have changed and they don't share the forums meme anymore.

Fuck I hope not, I'm her arms dealer, not her handler, I can't "call her off", all I do is supply the toys, and speaking of toys...
Melkors are resistant to all forms of weaponry, to the extent that traditional ballistics and energy weaponry is practically useless, which leaves kinetic weaponry, ideally of transdimensional nature, *gives Nyx the witchblade* perhaps this will help with the shirtless envy too.

A chainsaw running on orphan's blood would also work, but why settle for cheddar when you've got bree?

Actually, I rather like cheddar, and I have a couple of orphans I would totally be willing to supply for this project.

(Depending... I'd need to know the precise definition of orphan. Do their parents really have to be dead? Or is being unwanted in this house... uh, their house, and subsequent abandonment sufficient?)

Maybe they've gotten what they can get and are on to the next thing. They are, after all, INTP.

You are all thinking too hard, but you knew that already....

BTW I like the new emoticon, can we do an entire set of customized INTP smilies?

So, OreCog is an arms dealer and has an ego the size of a mac truck. Add the fact that he likes to run around stark naked and his obsession with machines and it all becomes clear.

OreCog=Tony Stark. :p

I'm not egotistical, I'm just audacious, shameless, unapologetic, and.... yeah okay whatever.
