I want someone who is more feeling than I am so I would probably be more into someone who is INFP than INTP but I also love INTJ's and INFJ's (though there are not many male INFJ's). As for ideal, I like being INTP and I wouldn't want to be anything else.

Hmm. Thats the first time I've gotton INFP in quite a while.

So many questions about the type of people I prefer. Those are hard to answer because most of everyone I actually know right now I am related to, and particularly when it comes to those I care deeply about, such as my kids, the way I prefer to be towards them and the way I prefer them to be (nothing more or less than themselves) is going to be different than other random people out there in the world. But I also find it interesting that it said I am attracted to INTP because when I answered the questions thinking about people I know who I am not related to but really like a lot (as in the couple of friends I am close with at this point) those people are all actually definite extroverts, no question.

So I'm an INTP who wants to be an INFP*. This is not unexpected. Interesting how the preferences became increasingly less defined, especially F/T and P/J.

*Actually, since F/T was a 50/50 split, the results can be interpreted as INFP for all three. It's possible that what I had previously perceived as a thinking preference is merely a thinking skill, my supposed Ti-ness my preoccupation with the characteristic INFP fantasyland. But my goal is to crystallize the abstract into something that applies to reality. I think the 50/50 split is representative of my inner duality. Sublime aesthetics and literature give me as much pleasure as comprehending scientific or mathematical concepts and theories. I've always been one of the most well-rounded of my peers.

I hate the design

The fact that ENFPs are one of the types that most pisses me off IRL and I tend to be LEAST attracted to them suggests that the whole is more than just the sum of the parts -- all the pieces work together to create a whole personality that I really don't much enjoy spending time with.

My P score for Am was 50/50 as well, which isn't really the case; no one who knows me would say I was J, it's not even close. Again, the questions they are asking in isolation can't really be summed to reach an accurate depiction.
