I linked them to Cegorach and Fukyo, and they told me about this thread that we got going on on INTPForum.com.

Tinkering with similar abstract concepts I have quickly produced these two ideas....but I think an 'architect' theme would be cool --- some kinda tools, but it's not really, is it? It's not usually blueprinting physical things, as much as understanding the abstract.....how do you represent that though?

I'm uncertain but here are the "thin and sexy" and "thick and prominent" versions of what I sketched up just now....of the same abstract bent...

I just thought of a good candidate. Is there an INTP logo already? If not, what are the spec requirements? Because it's an INTP statue but can't be seen if too small. On the other hand maybe it won't matter. Here is the statue. Will need to incorporate it with the "INTP" logo. What do you think? -- Unless it's already proposed. Don't know.

Shrink "The Thinker" a little in #3 and I'd go for that pending anything more elaborate like a fractal on the right. In other words, use that for now and update later.

Personally, I prefer it spare; but that doesn't mean there could not be a bannered dark_castle as a Style. On the other hand I would rather have the original --- here omitted --- dark_castle banner, if at all.

The air of mystery in the dark castle looks good. Spare? If only we had something spare/simple and complicated at the same time the way INTPs are. What do you think of that "The Thinker" in there somewhere? I know it's been used before however doesn't it fit INTPs? He's I, N, T and P.

OK, I have an idea, I just have very little artistic ability. So, here it is:

A field full of sheep all crowded together. In the forefront, away from the others, is a black sheep, sitting down on his butt by himself, holding a hamburger in one hand and a drink in the other, just enjoying the solitude. He'll have a little smirk on his face and his eyes will be looking away as if in deep thought. Nearby, a couple of the haughty sheep will be looking at him as if he's strange. He'll be wearing a t-shirt that says I N T P.

What do you think?

Or maybe instead of the black sheep, we could have the thinker in the middle of the field of crowded sheep. If you didn't get the metaphor, the sheep are the normal crowds of sheeple out there while we're the one's that stand out-think for ourselves..blah blah blah...

I came here to socialize with other INTPs, but not with residents like you that have no respect for someone just making suggestions. It takes a lot for an INTP to open up to strangers and just be themselves, but this is supposed to be an open forum for INTPs. It's an instant connection for a lot of us who have rarely made that connection with other types. It's not for opinionated *ssholes like yourself that think they own the place. Personally I find Robbaz's suggestion to be dreadful.

One because a hamburger eating sheep is an absolutely dreadful image, which would look awful as this forum's symbol, and two because he immediately assumes that INTP's are the only 'sheep' that flee the flock.

This is a biased and pitiful excuse for an analysis of Intp.

We INTP's are deeper than that, and I hope the *real* INTP'S amongst us would agree that such a blatant and skin-deep metaphor would tarnish out reputation and forum.

Robbaz - I have enjoyed most of your comments on INTPf if it is any consolation. And I am new as well and have had as awkward a reception if reception indeed it could be called - including pejorative public mistyping as a sport. Don't marvel that I used the term 'pejorative' because anyone who is a true thinking type knows how insulting it is to be accused of being a feeling type - just because we choose according to thoughts and not feelings doesn't mean that we don't have feelings at all.

Robbaz - truly the best of luck ! I know you will do famously well whether here or where-ever you are because you seem like a down to earth kind of guy with some spirit - and you seem reasonably conscientious about how people ought to treat each other - even if they may not treat us the same way we would want to treat them.
