Oh no, one of those evil INTJs, run for your lives!

What contrived sequence of events could have brought the likes of you stumbling foolishly upon our quaint temple of procrastination?

Hmm demisexual.... that's one I hadn't heard before. *googles*

How exactly does "absurdist spiritual christian (of sorts)" work?

Oh formalities? Yeah... hi. Welcome. We don't suffer from insanity, we quite enjoy it... :elephant:

It's not "Cali." It's California... I should probably go introduce myself, but I'll leave that for when I feel like it.

I always call it Cali though. And I am from there too!

Interestingly enough, I live here and I cannot recall having ever heard anyone call it that. Anyhow, the only valid abbreviations for California that I know of are CA, Calif., and maybe Cal, which just screams UC Berkeley to me. But that's a topic for another thread. And yes, it is three o'clock in the morning.

absurdist spiritual christian (of sorts), vegetarian
What's an "absurdist spiritual christian (of sorts)"? Oh, and I'm vegetarian too! Sort of. I don't like the label much.

and in a relationship.
She is literally one post in, and she is already setting boundaries, fucking J chicks, man.

You had me worried there, for a second I thought you were one of those full on Absurdist spiritual Christians, but if you are only one of sorts, then I guess I'm okay with that.

Welcome to the boards!

Retypepasswords: Stop being anal retentive, she can call it cali if she wants to, it's an internet forum, not an academic Thesis.

I would like to stress that an INTJ female is an oxymoron, for we intellectuals truly know that all INTJ'S are inherently male minded, though sometimes they turn up in girls bodies for unknown reasons. (Stop thinking of it in literal terms people, get your minds out of the gutter!)

Isn't Christianity absurdist by definition? Just like every other religion?

("There is this guy in the clouds... and he does everything! And he's all good and stuff, except when he's not. But he doesn't want that anybody notices but actually he wants that everybody recognizes him! Also, he really hates it when you cook a young goat in its mother's milk.")

Oh, wait, it's an intro thread. *does the secret INTJ handshake*

Well. Come.

In Northern California I never hear anybody call it Cali but in Southern California I hear it all the time. I suspect it's because Northern California does not really want to be California at all. They just don't talk about it. :p

Bler. Don't mind me.

Edit: Although, whenever I hear somebody say Cali instead of California I think of the Hindu goddess Kali and that makes me happy until I notice the person in question is twirling their hair and popping gum like their life depends on it.

KALI BURN IT ALL!!!

That would explain a lot. I'm in Northern California. Yes, California really ought to be split into two states. We could sell those Southern Californians our water and make loads of money! :twisteddevil: (Just kidding... I'm grossly oversimplifying things, of course.)

... the fact that an INTJ is here isn't interesting enough?

Welcome! What are some things that you are interested in? I've read that INTJ's have their own set of specialties. What are yours?

Welcome to the forum. As you can see, we prefer to let the insanity out rather than medicate it. :D

Uh, not to be rude or anything, but wouldn't you "fancy" your own forum more than this one? But you're already here so welcome.

Not necessarily. Even INTJs get tired of other INTJs after while. :D

holy crap, sorry for not responding to everyone! i didn't expect such a welcome...
i''ll just answer a few questions/points:
1. i'm on an INTJ forum too. i'm just seeing if there's more water i like out there.
2. yes i am an INTJ. very much.
3. yes i actually am from cali and yes i type it 'cali' because i'm lazy when it comes to typing (if you didn't notice my lack of capitalization already). i live in CenCal which may have a lot to do with that though. ha.
4. demisexual in terms of asexuality, yes. and those who mentioned that, thanks. i like feeling a tad more comfortable entering some place w/ my sexuality known.
5. my religious affiliation is matters i wish not to discuss on here because they're kind of just my business i feel and it's far too labor intensive to explain everything. not offended or anything, just saying.

so there you go. i think that's settled. and btw to the sexist comments (which i laughed at, btw. i'm not an annoying bitch), i don't consider myself female. anatomically, of course, but not in terms of gender. i consider myself androgynous. so i stick my tongue out to you!

I might advise not calling attention to your religious affiliation in your introduction posts in the future if you are not willing to discuss it.

i was merely using it as part of an introductory, not discussion topic.

Hey it's all good. There is nothing wrong with not wanting to discuss you religious affiliation.

All I am saying is that there is some about a sweet name like "absurdist spiritual christian" that just seems to scream out "please discuss me." So you might want to watch out for that one in the future.

Hell no, we can't just judge you, that just takes all of the adventure out of understanding a person. If we ask you questions, it might lead us somewhere neat.

well maybe in due time i'll explain points and pieces of it. the thing is, i don't really know how to explain it because i haven't really explored everything i believe in i don't think yet. that's the main reason i don't really wish to discuss it here. and my views are kind of fluid in a lot of senses; if i'm proven wrong or given a new/better theory, i throw the old one out the window.
