This setup uses Day start.
There is no daychat. Mafia cannot talk in their QT with each other during the day phase of the game. Only the night phase of the game.
Cop get results in the form of Town/Antitown.
You can claim your role.
Discussing this game outside of the game thread and QTs is strictly forbidden. I repeat DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE GAME OUTSIDE OF THE THREAD AND QTS OR YOU WILL BE MODKILLED IF I CATCH YOU DOING IT. Guys, please respect this, its no fun if you are cheating. This included PMs.
You may not, under any circumstance, edit your posts in this game. IF I CATCH YOU EDITING YOUR POST YOU WILL BE MODKILLED ON THE SPOT!!!!
Do not post in the thread after night phase is in place. Every one is suppose to be asleep when it is night except mafia and cop. The mafia and cop use their QT to communicate to me and each other rather than in the thread. I am a little lax with this one if I think it was an honest mistake, but if talking in the thread past deadline persists I will be at least issuing warnings.
Players must post once every 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in a warning and if it happens again I will modkill your spot. You don't want that; it hurts your team
Each full game day will be 3 days. 48hour day phase 24 hour Nighttime phase.
Lynches will be decided by >50% majority. If no lynch is made by End Of Day (EOD) then there will be no lynch. The moment a majority is reached it is twilight. Votes counted after the majority lynch will not count. This includes Unvoting.
Voting must be in Red And Bold with the players name who you want to vote for. Unvoting is not necessary to cast another vote, but you can still UNVOTE. I will give vote counts periodically.
Players who die can still win if their team is victorious. This is a team game and it would be kinda lame if only the survivors won.
Game will start after all spots have been filled and I feel it is a good time.
This is a no holds barred game, meaning forum rules don't apply. No porn or obscene images.
DO NOT FOR ANY REASON QUOTE (COPY PASTE) ANYTHING FROM YOUR QT TO THE THREAD. I WILL MODKILL FIRST TIME OFFENDERS FOR THIS.
You are not allowed to quit the game without a valid reason. If you do quit the game without a valid reason, you will not be playing in any more of my forum mafia games. Valid reasons for quitting the game are if something unexpected comes up for you irl that prevents you from playing the game.
Replacements are still welcome.
Players can still discuss the game after they die in the dead thread QT. If you don't wish to play, but want to spectate, I will send you the link to the Spectators corner QT. They are both the same QT.

The first thing we need to do is get everyone talking. It may seem almost pointless to start reading people now, but the process of talking increases the chance that a scummer slips up. So we talk, we ask questions, we provide answers. Mafia tend to post less than townies (because their objective is to avoid attention and lower the odds of themselves slipping up), so by posting lots, you evidence your townliness. Get talking!

Mafia have Night Phase talk only. Mafia know who each other are and share a QT with each other where they can discuss strategy of the events of the day. This is also where they decide who to Night Kill (NK).

No. Not just, though yes, that's part of the intention. If I'm useful to town then town has less reason to think me mafia. Neither town nor mafia wants to have people think they're mafia. There's no point in figuring out who the scummers are if nobody believes you or worse, you're dead because everyone distrusted you.

Establishing yourself as town is an important duty of every towner.

If this was not the very first game on this site I would have absolutely no mercy with this rule, however, I really don't want to modkill people because it completely ruins the balance of the game and just generally makes it not fun for people who actually want to play. It is very early in the game, morning of day 1 if you like. There is little information available and most participants are seemingly inactive right now. It seems you are very focused on having people show where they stand. Right now nobody has much to defend as there is much fumbling around in the dark. I do agree that spreading shit early will make it harder to single out key information, when it's important to go back and find.
