I'm wondering what people's favorite quotations are? Just checked my FB page and discovered mine are basically an overview of the type:

I think I have a list of my favourite quotes, but I always smirk at Einsteins conclusion that the only thing as infinite as the universe is human stupidity.

Of course, he wasn't being smart, just sarky, thats all it takes these days....

As for my own favourite quotes... I should probably order them alphabetically by author. But since I'm unorganized, let's start with Douglas Adams.

-I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

-The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.

-He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.

And many others... But I hardly have the time to list them here. Einstein's another great person to quote... I'll get to him later.

So, do any of you consider lyrics quotes? Or do they deserve a category of their own?

And pretty much anything from Einstein & Voltaire is worth a chuckle followed by a moment of reflection.
Oh, and then there is the quote by Groucho Marx that is in my signature. But that is mostly because I use it to get out of conversations I don't want to be in. Especially fun at parties!

Edit: My absolute favorite quotes have to be from Genkai off Yu Yu Hakusho (though I like a lot of quotes off that show, she seems to have the best ones.
