If, by some miracle, more than 9 people are interested, I think I could make a few fun additions to the setup. I guess we'll see.

General Structure
The game will start when it starts (most likely at 10pm CST because I'm most likely to be available to be there consistently at that time).

Days: 48 hours
Nights: 24 hours

Minimum posting
You must make a minimum of 6 posts per "day" in the main thread.

Lynches/Player Death(s)
Lynches will be a plurality at the end of day. Whoever has the most votes at that time is lynched. NO LYNCH is an option. If there is a tie, the outcome will be selected at random among those tied.

No outside communication
Only acceptable as instructed. The standard QT threads will be created for spectators and daleks.

Back story
(shamefully stolen from the internet and adapted for my nefarious purposes)

During the Last Great Time War, the Daleks gathered up humans and placed them in Glass Dalek casings which acted as incubators while the human inside was mutated into a Dalek, after which they would be placed into a standard Dalek casing. This involved the direct transformation of living humans - bodies first, then their minds.

Following the Last Great Time War, the Dalek Emperor rebuilt the Dalek race out of harvested human DNA. This took centuries to achieve as so few human cells met the required genetic criteria. However, a force of half a million Dalek drones was eventually created. This army was obliterated by the Bad Wolf entity as it attacked Earth in 200,100.

The Imperial Dalek race concluded that if they were ever going to utilize the convergent evolutionary traits that made humans useful, if inferior replacement troops, they must do so with the utmost secrecy. They would transform their minds, and then their bodies.

The Daleks kidnapped two villagers from a small Canadian island and infected their minds, beginnig the metamorphisis. Their mission is simple" they must exterminate their fellow villagers and set up a base where a few proper daleks may land undetected. Then, and only then, may they purge their bodies and join the Dalek Empire.

The Doctor and his companion have discovered a small neihgborhood on Grand Manan emitting what appears to be Dalek transmissions. Daleks, on the Queen of the Fundy Isles?!

They decide it's time to investigate. Quietly, if possible.

I am not a hobbit. Also, these Daleks are still part-human and therefore capable of humour, though probably mere puns and potty jokes.

My logic is obviously not without its flaws, which makes redbaron and helvete the other obvious intruders from realms beyond.

I need to state early on in this game that next Wednesday (it's currently Wednesday ~1pm for me), if I'm still alive, I will be out for probably the whole day. (That'll be the second half of Day 3 by my reckoning. Game might be close to done then. Could be really inconvenient timing.) That's when I will be visiting that hospitalised family member overseas and the flight takes a while. Following that I will probably only have internet connection on my phone for a few days so my post quality may drop a bit but I'll try hard.

If things are heating up then, the game's still going and I'm still around, perhaps we could consider closing the thread for 12 hours on that day, since it will be completely impossible for me to participate while on a plane. Or I could simply be understood to be out for that day. Whichever suits everyone best.

I think it's bad for town to over-explain anything that scum can use to either adapt to or turn into wifom. Discussing scum strategy 95% of the time fits into that category. Pro town things not so much, but sometimes they can.
