There was that one thought about some crazy Indian guy (from India) who sells toilet paper to people stranded without it at public restrooms, and makes them haggle for it, complete with silly voices/gestures and everything.
I was laughing so hard I ended up on the floor.

It was nothing more than a whimsical product of my imagination.

* at own stupidity*

I was just about to write: "No, really? He was from India? I would have never thought of that!"

Then I realized there are other Indians.

One point for German language for making a difference between the two Indians!

hmmm, what cracks me up? really, nothing in general. It's a spur of the moment thing. If I make some observation someone missed, or think of something that leads to something else that's humorous, I will begin to laugh. I did this during lunch at my school recently actually. At first it did start with a scary looking grin, then a total crack of laughter... my friends just stared baffled, and eventually began laughing a bit saying "what the heck is her/your problem"? :D...I answer... everything (laughing continues, more and more people abandon seats next to me....

i do smile/chuckle a lot in random places. i usually hope people don't see it (unless they are attractive women. i've somehow added this sort of "what is he laughing about?/he seems interesting somehow" type thing to my game...).

but often do i have inside jokes...and leave them completely on the inside.

I always have funny scenarios going on in my mind that crack me up. And I'm constantly cracking jokes with the people in my head and making them laugh, which manifests itself as my laughter.

I smile and occasionally laugh at things I'm thinking about. I try not to when there are other people around, I try to tone down on the craziness. I smile when I remember something that has amused me in the past. Sometimes I laugh at my own thoughts which can be quite silly. Flawed logic or the sort.

I recently got a job that is quite repetitive and doesn't require much thought. Since then, I've found myself slipping more easily (maybe too easily) into my mind and become oblivious to my surroundings. And just being in that inner world makes me cheery and more prone to smile (well, it's quite capable of the opposite as well). Even in the mornings, when I'm tired and huffy, I'm able to smile at amusing thoughts.

Pretty much this, the people in my head and I have hilarious conversations and then I'll actually laugh or smile or something. My uncle once asked me "What are you smiling about?" "Nothing" "You're up to something......You're always up to something. You're sneaky like a cat......Sneaky Shadow Sneaky Shadow..."
and this was when he was sober. (so he claims)

[/sorta off topic]

Anyway yeah, I have inside jokes with the people in my head and I am constantly making jokes in my head that I rarely say out loud. I do get lots of strange looks but I'm used to that by now. I'm a drummer :D

I often chuckle or smile at my own inner monologue/dialogue, even when I'm around others. It's weird and gets me a few confused stares, but yeah.

I am also often amused by my own thoughts. Imagined senarios are generally fun as well.

I once read a book where one of the characters said that mentally reliving pleasing moments is a sign of a cracked mind. So now when I remember something ammusing and go over the whole thing in my mind I feel a little self conscious about it. Of course this is stupid, but a lot of random things have lodged themselves in my mind and refuse to leave. Why would it be bad to go over things again in your mind? Gah. Stupid book. I'll giggle at my own thoughts as much as I darn well please.:beatyou:

I smile, chuckle and sometimes even laugh out loud from things I think about. Looking back on stupid things I've done also tends to crack me, and I tend to get noticed for it although I don't go past chuckle when I know I'm actually with people, as opposed to only being in public, I sometimes do laugh when I think nobody is watching, but of course I'm wrong from time to time...

"Everything." Good answer.

The things that I find amusing, most people don't laugh at. You know those scenes in movies that are just passing scenes that have no real significance? Or noticing a facial expression on a friend or professor that no one else sees, or if they do, they just don't think it's that amusing? Or politicians. CSPAN is hilarious. If you watch with the instrumental music on and dub the old guys' thoughts....

... Yeah. "Everything" is a good answer.

I agree...everything is a good answer.

AND. CSPAN IS HILARIOUS.

I love watching Congress, especially making up stories about the people who are just the clerks (you know, those ones in the front who wander around all the time and are 50% more likely to be wearing brightly colored clothing)...and whenever some people wearing suits walk in from one of the doors I scream (usually in my head): "Oh my, it's the CIA!!!" And commence inventing a story about how the CIA takes over congress by collaborating with the clerks and interns. It is a rather amusing story.

Even better is when CSPAN runs the British parliament...they yell at each other and are generally much more rude than Congress (which = better). Favorite "scene" of sorts was when one lady from one party said something ridiculous, and the other side was...quiet (for at least 30seconds), then one guy stands up and says, "WHAT?!" and they all start yelling. Best thing to happen on CSPAN, ever.

...and the instrumental music is great. :phear:

My Home Ec teacher from AGES ago once told our class that the music in the supermarket is chosen in just such a way as to get the current majority crowd in the store to buy more.

Morning > Old people > This music...

Afternoon > Mothers > That music...

Night crowd, and so on.

I've never actually remembered to do the research required to confirm it, but I'm still just a tad bit paranoid whenever I walk into a grocery store, that fact lingering in the back of my mind. :slashnew:
