As far as I know (not that much), I'm the only member who's come back to life (previous account was coolydudey60, permabanned, http://intpforum.com/member.php?u=3775. *sigh* I was dumb). Do you reckon there might be anyone covertly evading a ban? Don't think IP banning is used immediately, is it? (Plus, it can be circumvented)

I was looking for neither of the first two, and yes I am a little bored. Fortunately my posting spree is ending now. It's interesting to consider, and I was hoping somebody might suggest two posters were similar in style...

Dunno, occasionally remember it. I have a slight psychological weakness towards feeling mature, so that makes me occasionally point out how stupid I was. Equally I have some vague fondness of that child persona, and the rhyme of the username...

Looking back I feel my posts were immature, self-centered (not indulgent), annoying, and uninteresting. Now I feel that it's more simply down to a difference in communication and thought style that I have with the forum. When I do post serious things, I try to keep them very open-ended so that the forum can engage with them it's own way, cause I've learnt from experience that if I try to guide a topic too much it doesn't catch on at all.

I still like the place very much though and can say I am quite attached. You guys were part of shaping my growing up and personality.

The connection was known from the beginning, however he was given another chance and banned after some negative events involving him.

That's the official explanation and seems believable.

Amusing anecdote: He came to my wall once to bitch at me for misspelling Montresor [which I had already fixed, btw], after I teased him in a thread somewhere for misspelling Fortunato. He was such an ass about it, I didn't interact with him for a few months.

... Time to break out the Amontillado.
