Sounds like F to me.
Interestingly, you might turn this around and say the the heart can never hope to touch scientific endeavours, intellectual challenge, general logic etc.
Both F and T have their place though.
Welcome! I'm not the most active myself but I happen to be on a posting spree today.
Do you think being an INTP has made it more difficult to take care of two kids like that, compared to having been some other type?
Lots of stuff, let me just emphasize the Potential Problem Areas section. I personally experience the following:
- The INTP gets "stuck in a rut" and only does those things that are known and comfortable to the INTP.
- They may become isolated from society.
- They may be completely unaware of...
I know I'm late to the party, but as I'm sure you all remember, Data was fully functional in his interactions with Trisha Yar:

One possibility, of course, is that you subconsciously exaggerate and try to 'live out your type' when filling out the tests. That's not necessarily the case though.
I'll leave it to others to provide insight into the difference between a strong INTP and a weak INTP.
Hi, welcome to the forum. I don't post much myself, I just... observe...
Anyway it sounds like you have a bunch of negative emotions running around your head relating to this whole affair and maybe your personal state in general. These emotions can be dangerous for INTPs. Make sure you handle...
"Can talk" <-- my favorite part
I never could understand Bach, his compositions are so heavy.
I'm almost getting a bad conscience from reading your intro post, I feel like I have much fewer interests than you. My laziness is my Achilles' heel.
Personally, I think I have taken a more backdoor approach to feeling. I keep in mind such things as insecurities, differing perceptions, perceived social and professional pressures, primal joy/primal anger etc. and to some extent logically arrive at an expectation of which feelings different...
@ Bird:
Oh sure, I wouldn't want her to read it directly, but there's probably 100+ people who would be able to unique identify her from the information given, meaning that the probability that she herself would find it is at least a factor 100 lower than that of someone she knows finding it.
@...
Oops, somehow I thought this thread had died after my last reply, not sure why.
@CoryJames
I'm quite good at learning from my mistakes, the mistake being assuming that the edit function was not time-limited as I had been used to from other forums.
@loveofreason
If you feel the conversation it...
I saw your first post, watched the video, went to the site, found the smile or die video and watched that, and then came back here to only to see you highlight it in your second post.
That is some good stuff my friend, I'll be bookmarking that.
Although the main theme of the smile or die video...
It's not so much that it's a machine, but more the aspect of it hovering above the battlefield, cloaked, being able to detect other cloaked units, while itself being very fragile and weaponless.
I think that 'rule' is mostly valid when referring to things that people in general find interesting and have a non-zero probability to want to store and share. Things like gossip about famous people and pornography fall into this category. My stuff is pretty generic and would only be deemed...
@ Gopher: Well, I knew that I was posting some pretty personal info when I did it and I don't regret doing it, but I had expected I could remove it again. The most important thing to me at the time was to get as helpful and accurate feedback on my problems, but now that I got that I've turned to...
I just wanted to put this up as a formal request. Can you not delete my thread 'help analysing this girl' on the human relationships board? I put up too much info that I'd care to leave around indefinitely. I thought the option to delete ones thread would remain open to me...
I'm in the unfortunate situation that I wrote a bunch of information in my thread 'Help analysing this girl' that I feel bad about leaving on the forum. I was not expecting there to be a time limit on the ability to edit/delete, and I had hoped I could delete it once the discussion was over. I...
Thanks guys, I'd seen the alpha philosophy enough times online to know it wouldn't get me what I'd like. I just chose to be politely dismissive towards MonkySpanker.
@nemo:
I've never used this name before online, so if you've known any 'observers' before, I'm afraid it can't have been me :)...
The world is flat is as true as pi = 3.14.
A good assumption within a large domain of applicability.
On a more serious note, if you think the world is flat in a non-local sense, you're probably just doing it for the attention.
