Lots of stuff, let me just emphasize the Potential Problem Areas section. I personally experience the following:

- The INTP gets "stuck in a rut" and only does those things that are known and comfortable to the INTP.
- They may become isolated from society.
- They may be completely unaware of how to express their inner world to others in a meaningful way.
- They may not recognize basic social principles, such as appropriate dress and general behavior.

I can't really say how I deal with relationships due to lack of experience, but those other things above are things I sometimes have to deal with. I find that especially the lack of ability to express my inner world is handicapping me and holding me back from ever making meaningful connections with people.

i generally try avoiding these things, because it usually leaves me feeling like somebody has crawled around in my head and stolen my brain...but...

global thinkers... everything as one giant Entity that is connected...seek knowledge about that Entity...seek the Truth... not easy for the INTP to reach a conclusion about the Truth...

absorb the many complexities ...driven to consider each of these complexities before reaching a conclusion.... They want to know that the principles of their understanding have been understood correctly...

highly respects logic and the way that the mind works logically...great pleasure from engaging in logical acts that require quick, spatial reasoning...

happiest in... which they can use logic regularly in an effort to uncover Truths... more simple needs from interpersonal relationships...

INTPs who isolate themselves rarely feel happy or successful...

The INTP's feeling of success depends upon their opportunities to exercise their active mind, their opportunities to seek and find Truth, and the condition of their relationships and extraverted life...

natural ability to focus and get "into the zone"... absorb their minds completely..and work it through with amazing speed and accuracy. logical abilities are dependent on their experiences...can grasp difficult concepts...often jovial and good-natured, with a good sense of humor... not overly demanding in personal relationships...simple daily needs...

good athletes...see the value of principles that are not strictly logical...

yea, i need to work on my extraverted intuition apparently...

"stuck in a rut" ...The INTP resists...anything that doesn't support their own experiential understanding of the world... If they perceive that something is not logical, they reject it as unimportant....caustic and insulting to others... isolated from society...social organizations and institutions trying to control them...unknowingly or uncaringly hurt people's feelings...completely unaware of how to express their inner world to others in a meaningful way.

completely unaware of the type of communication that is often desireable and expected in an intimate relationship... unable to appreciate the value of such actions. ..feel too vulnerable to express themselves in this fashion...pushed beyond their comfort level to form commitments or emotional bonds, they may reject a relationship entirely...

I came across that years ago, just as good back then as it is now.

the ganja just reminded me to mention, as far as the benefits listed for improving extroverted intuition....psychedelics seem to have improved areas of my shortcomings.

Please, expand...

early in my life, it use to be a dark, cold, empty world. And logic will tell me that yes, this is the most accurate description of this place.

emotions, expressions, and seeing things outside of what seemed 'logical' were completely detached. an impossibility.

but then i found psychedelics. and its not like im an open book now or anything...but i feel like it helps open avenues of unexplored thoughts, connected with my emotion, and most importantly life outside of my own little bubble.

aside from my sort of world view and thought processes...relationships. theres no doubt that they have helped me a great deal finding value and more comfort when dealing with emotion/relationships. Growing up, this was one of my biggest difficulties, making connections and lasting, meaningful human relationships. Being more social, and an INCREASE in my ability and confidence (which is still well below standard).

just a brief blurb, but i really mean it when i say psychedelics have changed my life for the better.

I agree with psychedelics having changed my life. Although, I think they're effects are somewhat overrated. But yeah they really helped to get outside of my head and interact with people in ways that I didn't before. It just seemed like when I was tripping I connected with people better and just forced me to trust people more (or differently I guess)... It also really just helped me to let things go and take the world for what it is. I think other things I did in my life also helped my personal growth but taking psychedelics is like a shot of personal growth, transforming me in a day which might have taken months or years.

Also, I agree with it doing with alot with Ne. It's like psychedelics are made for Ne and Se.

I think the effects outside of the experience, and knowing how to apply the lessons and feelings to normal sober, every day life is what its really all about (at least with the heavy hitters). I cant say that I really engage in social activity while under the influence.

now cannabis...can-a-bliss...thats a different story there. because tis something that allows for daily use, and i am perfectly able to perform and maintain...that i suppose i could say has an immediate effect when i am with people under her influence.

but yea, the doors of perception yo. when you take the time to learn about psychedelics and their power, it sort of like using a telescope for your brain. its all already there, you just need a tool to help you see it better.

psychedelics made for se and ne? or perhaps they are the reason these things exist within our own chemistry to begin with...afterall these plants and chemicals were here long before us...
