If you want to be a surveyor, I can tell you that it can be a very interesting and investigative job. My dad works with gas and oil titles from Pennsylvania and Ohio, and many of the descriptions of boundaries include landmarks such as "old tree" or "pile of rocks".
The point of this all is...
Oh, sheesh! That's incredibly scary; I've been in a few crashes (thankfully none very traumatic) and it resulted in me developing a much more cautious style of driving.
I'm glad you've made progress on that issue - and I mean that.
It just feels strange because the entire relationship was possible only because of seemingly random chance and intuition on both parts, and as quickly as it happened, it disappeared almost completely.
Also, make no mistake about it; although I won't necessarily be happy if it doesn't work out...
Welcome, sir Rocco
I have a strange affinity for that name, as it is both the name of my favourite cartoon as well as a nickname for my favorite friend.
You're in good company :D (Both here and in my head)
Question: Why the anxiety about moving out, if nothing too personal?
Minimal communication. I've invited her to a couple things after my last message to you, but to no avail. I'm planning on letting it relax for a while longer (more than a week more) and attempting to at least salvage a friendship.
I still think there could be something here; I unfortunately...
Yeah, the contradictions were probably a result of me being stressed out about a particular personal situation. Just kind of ranting, sorry about that :o
Well yes, that's the problem. But I don't really agree that the forum is a good place to practice. I have no problem with expression...
This is what you should have said the first time. This is the most accurate description of the two. When I was reading your earlier posts you made it sound like Ni lost sight of the big picture completely - this is definitely not true.
From personal experience, I can tell you that Ni is very...
Yes, apathy. And I want to appear to care because I actually do care. I just have a difficult time expressing it. It's important to me because I feel as though if I don't let other people know what I care about then there will come a time when:
- Someone will do something I don't like and...
I never said boring. I openly admit that I'm a pretty boring person.
My concern is that everyone seems to think that they're different (probably myself included) but really most people are pretty similar to one another.
How does one combat the former?
Or at least the appearance of it?
When I connect with people I seem to give the same vibes - those of apathy, or depression. I am honestly just open to a lot of things, and I suppose my openness and monotonous voice give a detached, depressed vibe... which is...
The point of college isn't to learn skills, or gain knowledge, per se.
It's to meet people; create contacts, learn how to socialize, and deal with being an adult.
I agree with Absurdity:
Not saying it isn't possible, but you're misunderstanding the point of university.
He's saying:
Don't track the person just to figure out who it is. Make sure you understand what they are trying to do.
Otherwise your search would be ironically unfruitful; the answers you are looking for are right under your nose the whole time.
I've heard about Sparrow. Can anyone fill me in about this person?
As per OP; I've had minimal contact with Lyra. Very interesting, very intelligent.
Unfortunate.
As you all know, overconfidence is man's greatest enemy.
I don't have any data, but I'm certain our activity logs would be similar (albeit possibly for different reasons).
I listen to music in an album-oriented manner; I'll listen to an album until the feels have subsided (can take anywhere from a few days to an entire summer) and then search for new...
W00t! Beginning of creative/ intellectual spurt has begun!
And here I thought I was just feeling healthy :D
In reference to OP (I think):
I've always enjoyed arguing, if only for argument's sake. This may be more of a familial trait than one of being "an intellectual", however.
As far as...
I have fundamental knowledge of the functions; putting that knowledge to use IRL is more difficult.
And if you didn't want to explain then why did you reply to the thread?
This made me literally lolz.
Only difference is, I tend to do this even when I'm not high...
I especially enjoy when people sit around cross-legged. Reminds me so much of gorillas. Facial structures are also fun to compare...
I'm weird...
Do you use it mainly as a foot-warmer, or is it your main source of nighttime heat?
Do you use it on a train? Would you snuggle on a plane?
Personally, I use my quilt (I seem to have a lot, though) when I'm in the bathroom late at night. Serves as a sort of double-entendre for bad puns and...
Bingo. Someone mentioned most of the people here are INTP.
Considering that it is an INTP forum, I think there is an unusually large amount of people here that are NOT INTP. Random estimate from me would be ~60-70% of people here (could be much lower).
Time is relative, right?
So, in reference to yourself; no, you cannot travel through time. Of course you cannot be two places at once (or at least it doesn't logically make sense to me).
However, in reference to a third party:
In reference to points unassociated with the object in question...
Standard procedure here indicates that fluency in the language of jungian functions is necessary for an accurate typing.
Also, dude, welcome. I'm in the same position as you (as far as age/ educational status is concerned).:angel01:
Success!
Just thought I would let you know that the issue we talked about has turned incredibly in my favour. I cannot thank you enough for your help!
Additionally, after further analysis, ENFJ is also a very likely assessment (as opposed to ESTP). Darn function stacking...
J'apprecie
And quantum particles exist everywhere. The problem, (As I assume Animekitty was attempting to say) is that consciously, there is no future for a quantum particle. The point is moot in that regard.
However, this isn't to say that the actions of said particle cannot influence the 'present' for...
Nitpicking here, but I saw someone say topic drifting is either Ne or Ni.
I would have to disagree, and point out that it really differs from person to person. I mean, think about it; Ne and Ni, although different in specifics, serve the same function. Whether or not your intuition is...
I normally just stick with "Psyduck" IRL... Occasionally I'll shorten it up with "psy", or any combination of the two.
People wonder how I type with wings, but it's really just the same as wearing mittens: just takes practice, and patience.
I use to-do lists. They're just for things that I would otherwise forget to do (that I need to do), however.
OP was referring to exploring your interests and not setting boundaries on yourself, which is what to-do lists tend to do (if you're focus in life is solely to do things you need to...
So have they actually developed this?
Also: :gott0:
But really, I think this is pretty cool. I couldn't really tell if it was all theoretical or not, though.
I find smoking in the day to be unproductive, especially if you're with someone else. I actually just did it yesterday and I regretted the decision because my friend just wanted to go eat and then sleep, whereas I wanted to either sit and discuss or go out and do something. Eating or sleeping...
