I borrowed "the birth order book" by Kevin Leman that was on this topic. reading the book felt like a chore though, idk maybe its just reading books in general with me, but I also didn't like the anecdotal and case study type of substance and reasoning that was being presented in the book. What little I took away from it was that first borns are usually more sj types, last childs are more socialites and lone children are exposed to less socialisation so that might make them more introverted.

Yeah that's what I thought too. First-borns are usually given a lot of responsibilities so they tend to have more SJ qualities. As more children are thrown into the mix the parents tend to release their grip, which loosens them into more ES types.

But yes, like it says in the bold I think it just depends on each case; there isn't some magic formula, of course.
