I like 70's/80's pop rock. Top 40 stuff. Not exclusively, as I have a lot of variance on my iPod all different musical styles, but I actually have playlists for the BeeGees and Karen Carpenter, among others like Journey, Kenny Loggins, and Barry Manilow.
And yes, I like Katy Perry too. I even have a CD around here somewhere of when she was Katy Hudson, publishing on a Christian label. Go figure. The lack of response she got in that genre ended up being Top 40's gift horse in the mouth.
I can't keep my place clean. Every time I straighten up, it's messy again within a few days. Dusting is such a chore.
I have way too many pairs of shoes cluttering my closet... much of which I don't ever wear. I just dumped a bunch in charity, but I could probably ditch more.
I'll wear nail polish two weeks past its expiration so it's all chipped, then pick it off during work meetings and leave the flakes on the floor when no one is looking.
I only clean the litter box once a week. I hate it.
I blow off my oil changes until about 8000 miles have passed.
I wake up at 6:30am and can't drag my sorry ass out of bed, so I lay there surfing the Internet on my smartphone and finally get to work (15 minutes away) around 8:15am.
I wear my sunglasses into work so that I can put on my eyeliner later when I've got time, instead of getting to work later.
I'm so cheap that if I go out to Burger King, I will take slices of cheddar cheese with me so I won't have to pay for cheese there.
I don't like rom-coms that much (I have 3-4 that I enjoy, out of all that crap on the market); but I still daydream sometimes about kisses that would make my foot pop. When I was dating a guy a few years back, I remember sitting around writing my name using his last name to see how it looked over and over. Yes, it was silly, but at the same time since I knew that, I found it highly amusing to watch myself do it.
I come home nowadays from work with big plans to either clean up, or do some creative writing, or other projects... and I ended up watching TV/movies for most the night instead. And when I wasn't doing that, I was playing MMOs.
I have a modest "men's wall" at work. On the side of my cabinet that only I can see from where I sit, I have pictures of cute guys I found on the Internet. Nothing risqué. So far I have Daniel Craig, a young James Spader, and Pedro Pascal. Again, I think it's amusing.
I actually like the taste of Starbucks. I grew up drinking it (being from the Pac. NW), and I still like it. I'm just not willing to spend $5 for a cup of liquid candy more than once a year or so.
I don't really buy the fancy crap very often, but I also like Starbucks coffee. Some people claim it has the shit burned out of it, but I like really dark strong brews and a lot of other coffees seem weak to me. I usually just put a small dallop of creamer in it so it's rich dark brown versus perfectly black, but I don't understand the folks who have a little coffee in their milk.
