I took a test in high school too, I was the only INTP that period (class).

However my best friend was put as an INTP too. I distinctly remember her denying she was "cold" and "rational" and being seen as so odd. I agreed, even now I don't see myself as cold and rational . I read that's part of the INTP personality though.

I can't speak of my friend, I didn't really think that she was that "rational". She was on another period (class) and she was the only INTP too.

In my high school class of about 200, the only other potential INTP was this German transfer student who moved in my senior year, and I split valedictorian duties with him.

I think it's easier to find INTPs at college when you're in more specialized study programs (I had 2-3 INTP friends in college), and then actually holding down a job in an INTP occupation of interest.

My INTP kid is having a hard time his senior year because no one gets him, he doesn't have anyone who is his age and who he can talk to on his level.

I was at a church summer camp when tested so I suppressed the memory for 20 plus years.
