Change the name?

Hello. I see that many names were changed some time ago. I'm not asking for a way to change names at will. I just hate this name. I use it for everything, and it sucks. So is it possible for anyone to change it?

I probably sound like an indecisive five year old, asking to get my name changed.

Multiple registrations on generally frowned upon. I would suggest an appeal in the name change thread. Coming up with something better than "this name sucks" though might be helpful.

I read that thread. There were some thing I read:

There is a window of one month for new members to regularize their choice of names. Everyone else has been given two weeks, up to 6th February GMT to decide whether they want their name altered in any way.

But then something was said about having to bring it before a committee. I don't care enough to force the convening of a committee simply because of a name.

You might attempt making some sort of plea to the powers that be. PM an admin or two I mean. I think that you'll have to catch them on a good day though and make a sound argument.

I suspect that after long months of service you might have proven your loyalty enough to have you name changed but at that time it might also be futile. No one will go with the new name because of their connection to the old one.

I agree that your name does not seem to fit your persona though. Eh, I find avatars make more of an impact than a name.

That quote in my previous profile about one month, was I misinterpreting that? Though, I'm fairly sure I could construct a sound argument.

I honestly need to change my avatar too. Just haven't found something I like. I love yours, though.
