I fear I'll be torn to shreds.
I've ended up here after finally looking a little more closely at MBPT. I've never tested, but everything I read fits me perfectly, even enjoying the music of Shastakovich as per INTP.org, dammit. I couldn't help but think "I'm really INTP, I'm screwed." Then I realized you're all screwed too, and misery loves company, so here I am.
Really though discussions here are things I actually enjoy talking about, and it can be tough to find people to relate to.
From lurking on the forums here I've seen that many people have sophisticated, well read, and insightful ideas and opinions. Well, I'm making no promises on my end. I'm paradoxical, wanting harmony, but playing devil's advocate just for the hell of it. My attempts to understand the world, to classify things in hierarchal systems by splitting them into more and more sub-classifications that begin to reference each other more and more in my mind, usually ends with the bloated fractal tree collapsing upon itself and a swarm of chaos enveloping my mind. Just have to take these things slow. It makes me think maybe its easier to consider everything as a whole with reoccurring causations flowing through it.
I'm a young pharmacist with just enough knowledge to be dangerous, or perhaps that's just enough to be safe. I also have my BS in Biological Science, or as I like to joke my BS in BS. One of my projects is designing the ultimate outline to guide my continuing education in medicine and pharmacology so that all my knowledge can be placed in a grand hierarchy that will connect it all together. Quite exciting really.
I hate being told what to do, and am tempted not to obey just out of spite even that would be not so good, and one of my missions is continually minimizing the number of people I have to depend on.
I enjoy exercising when I have the chance and video games when there is time. I enjoy learning about history, and have been looking at the ancient history of regions of the world, and might have been a history teacher in a different life, but I love science as well. Due to past experiences using text communication I will say am nice and not trying to sound mean, and yes this was too long sorry. Hello, everybody!
