If in the future brain chip implants could simulate virtual creature that love the people they inhabit. And to be a perfect compliment to their needs / desires.

Is this objectionable or preferable.

I have never dated but feel that if and when such technology became available I could live out fantasy's.

To some it may seem as a pet you can have sex with if so desired but as both occupy the same body they could never separate and so this could be viewed as slavery.

But in the case that you treated him or her as an equal with dignity could this be a love that lasts.

What is this, a prosthetic for people who lack imagination? XD

If I may take this conversation in a more profound direction, do you think that artificial love will ever be possible (will we ever be able to make machines that could love us back, in the emotional sense) or is that something exclusively human?

Beyond a certain threshold of intelligence I believe so yes. A simulation need only be sophisticated enough along with extensions of brain regions to evoke genuine caring. Capacity for thought directly leads to emotional attachments.

As it is an implant it would simulate anything desired but mostly it would be a close friend who knows you intimately down to each brain cell.

I 'only' see two things bad if these kind implantations were available at some point. First being that I think it would making our already socially declining culture less social. I don't know if I just have a romantic picture of older days. But 'back then' people could not just give a call to each other, you'd have to either show up or send a letter (if posting was even available) I rarely, if ever see some of the people that I speak to on Facebook, which is sad if you ask me. Obviously there are also good things about 'modern communication' I get to speak to people from other countries without a hassle. But why does everything have to be without a hassle. Imagine the mind blowing awe you would experience if you arrived to a country you had NEVER seen before, you had never seen or heard of their language, culture, architecture, religion, history or people. Must be the most amazing experience ever, and I doubt we'll ever be able to experience it, because we've all seen it on "the internet"

This is getting a little off-topic, but my point is that I think this "brain implant" would make us even more detached.
The second thing I don't like about implants like this is that the company who had the technology could make this "dream partner" who is supposed to be projected by the implant, to virtually anything. Which to my logic, enables them to make me do anything they want. They could project an entire world 'in' my brain.

I think once the line between human and machine is blurred to the point that they're indistinguishable from one another, machines capable of love will be perfectly possible, yes. Whether or not it counts as love if you programmed the machine with the specific intention of it loving you is another matter - love is often said to necessarily be spontaneous and given freely (which is why the nuclear family so often drives people insane compared to other social units - it generates a lot more double binds, especially related to love and its unwritten laws).
