I know many of you are fond of surrealism art. I would like to share my love of surrealism art with you guys. There is one particular artist that I want to point out, Zdzislaw Beksinaki.
I have no art background and I didn't even know what is surrealism art before I came across his work by chance. I was drawing into my emotional ride as usual the day I encountered his work, and the moment I saw them, I felt calm. As haunting/nightmarish as his work are, I feel peaceful and relaxing everything I look at them.
Our world here is not better than the world that created by him. In fact, to me, that world that created by him is a real Nirvana. There is no happiness yet no pain either; no gain yet no loss kind of place. Absolutely nothing to look forward, to go for, yet it also means absolutely nothing to pull you down. It is real freedom.
The way I see it is he has a real perspective on things or people around him. I feel like the creature/building in his working is so raw that they are the real us; it is how things really are, how we really look like once the materials that chain us down and the illusion that covering our eyes are disappear.
I will embrace death more passionately if heave is what it is like in that world.
Here are a small portion of my favourite work of him:

I am interested in knowing what you think of/ how you feel about his paintings. The inspirations (if any) that he brings you. Or if there is anything that crosses your mind. Also, it would be great if some of you can tell me the real meanings behind his paintings. Were they political related? Was he simply rebelling the Art society? etc
