I will never understand how people can drink and like(!) Guinness. Kilkenny yes, Guinness no.

But what if one already wears green most every day? Must they do something extra green?

Yeah, and what if one has no green clothes to wear... only black. Should they just pretend that they're wearing green?

Oh. Wait. This is the day in which very few people remember a bunch of other people who went and died, not before organising themselves into a battalion. Awfully nice of them, that.

I was doing some french, so I got bored and distracted, but in the irish spirit, I have little four leaf clovers painted on one hand, 'cos I kept smudging them on the other hand.

I also chatted to the irish people at our school who catch the same bus as me (they don't have irish accents though =( ) about st.patricks day, and apparently he drove all the snakes out of ireland. One of the other girls who catch the bus was getting confused 'cos she thought he'd made leprechauns. 'twas quite funny =P

Saint Patrick is the person credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland (as a slave) around 300 AD. I think the whole snakes thing is apocryphal.
