Do you ever find yourself watching a movie / anime / TV show or playing an MMORPG or console game and wishing that you could live in a world like that, or just 'step in' at will? If so, what world? Mine are usually a mixture of Star Wars and N'AGE. :o:o:D

I do that with lots of things, books, games, roleplay, television, and movies.

I might do it too much actually.

Lord of the Rings.

I think I'd go to live with elves/ents/hobbits. Possibly I'd just cruise about on my steed.

Well, if someone would ask me this in reallife my reaction would be "Well, d'uh!"
So, yes, of course i would love to visit different worlds :D :D

Which ones specifically would depend upon if i would be able to join just as a 'ethereal' visitor (meaning an observer that just observes and would not be subject to the world. So no deamons or magicians or Dark Sith could harm me ;)). 'Cause i'd be interested to observe (and interact in communication, but not 'physically'/bodily) many worlds, but i don't have a death wish or wish to be tortured or anything like that, lol.
If i couldn't choose to just be immaterial observer (like a ghost or something floating around like will and tlak with people), i would choose much mroe harmless worlds ;)

I wish I could step into the world created by Fatal Frame 3. I would go into the Manor of Sleep, and would seek out people who are special to me.

Six stories up.
When I read fantasy or watch films, this happens automatically for me. I sometimes dream very vividly of being in those worlds as well. I read Lord of the Rings when I was around 10 or 11 and spent a lot of time in the woods behind the house imagining I was a part of the story, not a specific character, but myself transplanted in that world. I even dug a hobbit house into the side of a hill and used a trash-can lid for the door. The Forgotten Realms world was also the subject of a lot of my fantasy adventures. As I've gotten older I don't play at being in the worlds anymore, but I still catching myself fantasizing about being in all kinds of different worlds.. most recently they've mostly been of my own creation though (I've been developing an idea for a fantasy epic for as long as I can remember). I'm always myself though.. I don't try to pretend to be something/body I'm not, but imagine how I would react to those worlds.

i've created a pretty extensive world that i've always wanted to use in a book (or even series) that i'd want to visit. the nice thing is, since its my own creation, i can visit it in my own head and change it on whim (which i do almost everyday when i'm at work).

Oh, I do this all the time! I kind of visit other worlds in my head all the time, though, I guess.

If I could choose any world to be a part of, I'd actually like to be in Harry Potter. Silly, I know, but Harry Potter lives in a very quirky world...and I like that. I've also wanted to be a part of Brave New World, just so I could observe their society more closely. I have occasionally caught myself wishing I could be my character in Runescape, but the I remember the alarming frequency of my death and am forced to reconsider. I pretty much do it with any fantasy world, though.

I spend a lot of time living lives in other worlds, though. Acting out scenarios in my mind keeps me occupied quite well, the problem being that I can't turn my brain off when it's time to sleep. (but, hey, who needs sleep?)

As often as I do imagine myself being somewhere else, I'm content with this world, just give me a Death Note.

Under the snow.
Yes, and a lot.
When I was younger, I was always mentally living somewhere else. The settings and themes eventually changed (there have been so much that it is hard to remember each of them, right now I only recall some "spy world"), and currently I am doing it to lesser extend than before, but I don't think I would ever be able to cut it off: everytime I try, my mind struggles against it.

Actually, there was a period when I was conviced that I have schizophrenia.
