Different motivations and goals are part of the picture, not just intelligence. A woman isn't vulnerable in her relationships because she's "stupid," she's typically making herself more vulnerable within the relationship, to maintain it.

If I REALLY need to be clear about this, the reality is that I'm here ON this forum this week to screw around and blow off steam, rather than having much time to "argue intelligently," since I'm currently doing taxes, going through a divorce, working a lot of overtime, going through a physical move, and dealing with kid issues. Actually having time and making time to invest in "serious" analysis of this issue is not on my plate right now, it's the last thing on my mind; and people here habitually joke in such dry ways sometimes it's hard to tell when they are kidding to begin with.

This isn't about gender either, I mentioned other races/ethnicities that have historically shown chronically lower/higher scores.

Your thesis presupposes everything interesting serves a practical purpose; almost the reverse is true.

On the contrary, furthering self-knowledge and inner insight confers tremendous benefits.

Maybe we're different people but I just don't see reality as that adversarial and sinister and comic-book-motivations clear cut.

(As a brief aside, while in conversation with an ITJ woman last about the difference between men and women's conversations, she noted that it is far more likely for a man to tell another man that what he has said is stupid/wrong, whereas a woman is far more inclined to think, "That is the stupidest ****ing thing I've ever heard in my life!" but actually say, "That's an interesting perspective; what led you to a conclusion like that, which I'm having trouble seeing the reasoning behind?"
