You're intelligent and creative, but fairly lazy. Philosophy would be perfect for a bullshitter like you. You find it easy to pull things out of your ass when others freeze up and stammer. It gives you satisfaction to cite long-dead men, whose names most people recognize but couldn't tell you one way or another what the hell those philosophers believed. Don't get too cocky because nobody is going to care about your thoughts on a post-Kantian analysis of human rational capabilities when you're flipping their burgers.

LOl i really loath the way they describe this

I got philosophy, but only idiots trying to hide the problems in their thinking appeal to authority when presenting ideas...

Also, I avoid talking about philosophy.

I'm planning on majoring in a science of mind, cognitive science, though.

Damn, should have stuck with my first choice of major ... except listening to people (assuming they are all middle-class housewives) whine about their problems all day is something I wouldn't miss.

Psychology is perfect for you! You don't mind pulling things out of your ass, but you don't want to think and you don't want to work too hard. You also apparently don't want a job, unless you're Clarice Starling...who got all the way to the FBI. Sure, so all those intro lectures and projects where you make your roommate look at a list of color names (printed in different colors than what the names suggest! omg!) might be dull, but after that you get to do cooler stuff, like, uh...I'll get back to you on that. Your powerful skills of insight into other people suggest maybe you should write more quizzes for this site when you're not doing that time intensive, uh, whatever it is you psych kids do.

I'm 13 years old and this is actually a profession that i'm interested in, aside from the inaccurate description, I guess i'm happy with my results.

While philosophy is interesting, it's not really for me.

Economics

You scored 25 mental chops, 8 work ethic, 24 bullshitability, and 13 practicality!

You're smart, creative, and lazy...but you also wouldn't mind leaving college with some job prospects. Economics is a perfect fit for you. Take care not to start looking at everything from a market perspective, or else you won't land any dates.

All results are bullshit for me, because I consider college to be mostly useless (for me), and extremely inefficient at teaching people.

So you're smart, but you're also lazy as hell and don't care too much about your post-college prospects (unless you're one of those rat race academic types or you're a dual major in something more practical). You'd make a good math major if you're really that bright--not many words, just you and the symbols, baby. That is, symbols that scare the pants off of most other people, but you've come to realize that they're a lot friendlier and easier to deal with than that pretentious pomo literary crap. Math majors are also entitled to make the corniest jokes and pickup lines, so have at it, O awkward one.

Lol funny, I actually found this to be a bullshit class, and the easiest to ace. I didn't buy the book, while others had a brand new copy and sat so eager to learn with their highlighters out. I came in late, studied off of wikipedia for the class and had the highest grade.

You're willing to work hard, but that's about it. You don't want to make things up and you don't care about how practical your major is. A social science that will make you write a decent bit such as sociology, anthropology, women's studies, American studies, Asian studies, African studies or your mother studies is probably a good fit for you. Sure, by the end of college you'll be bleeding relativistic universality and consider yourself a reverse ethnocentrist, but at least you'll know an awful lot about the breasfeeding practices of female gatherers from Amazonian tree-dwelling communities in the pre-rainforest devastation era.

You're smart, but you want to study something useful without making things up or working too hard. Computer science is probably right up your alley. You can sleep all day and drink Mountain Dew in your room at night while you code, all alone. All alone...but only for now, since you've always told yourself that once you start your own software company that all the chicks will flock to you.

Bhahaha...

A great many people here received the result psychology. Something very odd is going on. Isn't psychology too mainstream for the INTP mind?

Definitely too mainstream. I hate psychology majors so much. It's a cop out for people who are too dumb to study neuroscience.

I blame the quiz.

You're very willing to work hard at things that terrify other people...such as physics! It's challenging and demanding, and probably won't do anything to help you find a job. Are all those long problem sets, lab write-ups, research projects, and cardiac arrest inducing tests really worth knowing how to find the probability an electron will tunnel past a barrier or what in the hell a boson is? Godspeed, good soldier.

I love physics :smoker:
