Ok, so I searched and I searched and I didn't find and thread like this so here goes: (deep breath)

What do you guys do in your spare time?

Now, everything from here on out should be self-explanatory. :D And I promise to refrain from any debate of any sort (despite my love of it). :phear:

Floating.
Read. Play solitaire on my i-pod. Draw. Play the piano or violin. Sleep. Eat. That's pretty much it, I have a really boring life outside of school.

I often wonder where my spare time goes, the only answer can be that I do nothing. I listen to music, browse the internet without learning anything, read books on opinions and occasionally go on a long aimless walk. That is my life in one short sentence. I dispair at those talking about anything unreal, be it TV, movies, anime or video games as they are at best a waste of time and at worst an attempt to manipulate one's worldview. You have to question who's pulling the strings, and to what end...

Art, listening to music, beating my brother up mentally when he is rude and annoying, eating, sleeping, doing weird things with my friends (does going to the puppet show and writing puppet shows on the watchful eye of a crazed sex-obsessed woman while talking about dragons qualify as weird?), reading, writing poetry, daydreaming, learning about random math/science stuff, listening to constitutional lawyers give speeches, playing video games (rarely, but it happens), studying psychiatry, taking pictures, photoshopping pictures, disturbing people, making new FWIENDS, coming here and wasting time :p, forgeting about homework, not studying, and plenty of other random stuff.
Sorry if there are any repeats!

What do you mean in my "spare" time? As opposed to what, "productive" time? I don't think I understand

Listen to my mother talk about how brilliant it is to follow the norms. She is always there in my spare time. On second though, I don't have a spare time. What is "spare"? Everything is practical.

T.V., read, INTP forum, internet (in general), solitary walks, EAT:cat: (This is the first time I've used that smiley I do believe), practice (cough, cough) the violin, sleep, think, daydream of the future, stargaze (but can I actually name any of the stars?)
Yeah, the majority of my days would make a 90 year old bored (not that 90 year olds are boring :D
Although, I do have those occasional days when I get some refreshing burst of energy, in which I get a lot accomplished. This doesn't include things needed to be accomplised.

- Dissecting jazz music
- Listening or watching philosophy lectures
- Playing my ukulele or piano
- Origami. (I've found it to be incredibly useful. I can almost always find paper, and therefore I always have something to do).
- Solve problems!

On a side note:

Hmmm, Mary was the only one who mentioned doing things with "friends".

Depressing...

That philosophy lectures thing was very very thought provoking.

Most of my friends are INxx

We have interesting times together.
And just to shake things up, I'm friends with a random ESFJ.
She gets frustrated sometimes.

I love telling jokes that other people don't get.

"What do you call a room full of lawyers?"

"An assembly of well trained legal professionals"

Me and my INFP friend lol'd at this, My ESFJ friend didn't.

Right behind you, sipping tea.
Read.
Watch documentaries.
Knit.
Listen to sermons.
Clean my room.
Play piano.
Go for walks.
Go hiking.
Draw.
Journal.
Prank people.

As has ben stated, "listen to music" is a subpoint under all of these.

... Except "Prank people." That's kind of hard to do if you've got music blaring.

Warcraft.
Add little bits to that story in progress.
Read.
Listen to music.
Warcraft.
Visit intpforum. Poke around a few threads. Leave.
Shower.

Stress about future things.
Be harassed by extroverted friends.
Take a walk as deceivingly far from humanity as possible.
Make things with clay.
Organize gems in my guild's bank on Warcraft.

Muse about ineptitude.
Stare at the sky.
Wonder if I have something better to do than stare at the sky.
Realize I probably do. Promptly don't care.

...throughout this whole list, in my head I've been adding "like a boss" to the end of each item. The kids around me (I'm at school) keep glancing at me wondering why I'm smiling.

Oh, Chimera, you've made reading any and all lists much more amusing now, and I thank you. :) (why didn't I think of that before?!)...

My list:

- sit in room contemplating cleaning
- read book in room instead
- sit at computer contemplating work
- intpforum, wikipedia, NASA's website, and etc. internet instead
- go out-side, intending to plant carrots, potatoes, radishes, strawberries
- collect feathers that hide under leaves, organize the rock pile by the stairs
- make tea
- drink tea
- think about making more tea
- make more tea, but try to combine with chocolate and coffee
- fail
- try again
- success! Invent new drink.
- bother "friends" to try new drink
- "friends" hate new drink
- sulk and read more
- watch CSPAN and news
- read newspaper
- formulate opinions
- discuss opinions with self
- acquire new opinions
- argue with self until it, "all becomes relative"
- experience Descartes Moment (tm)
- lament
- Decide, "screw it"
- make more tea-coffee-chocolate
- read
- sleep
