People are weird. They've been accosting me with, "without the kids tomorrow you'll be all alone. Why don't you come with us to stand in the cold and watch a sporting event you have no interest in?" Hmm, "because I had a well thought out solid plan to not do that."

And I had to get yet another round of, "ooh, what's going on with this friend of yours, then?" Oh dear. Yes, I am spending the night getting drunk with a girl. No, nothing intimate is going to occur and I am perfectly fine with that. We have been friends for 13 years and have never slept together. We're comfortable enough with each other we occasionally change our clothes in each others presence and think nothing of continuing to chat whilst taking a piss, and have before now crashed out next to each other in the same bed. And nothing will happen regardless of how shit faced we are together. Yes, this is entirely possible.

I waited until I had parked to post. I have some level of survival instinct. I never use a phone while driving. Unless you count SatNav, music and when it's connected to com and someone calls (which doesn't happen often.)
