http://www.connectingsingles.com/quiz-29-are-you-a-thinker-or-a-feeler-quiz.htm

Try answering it truthfully, you'd probably be a Feeler too.

Enjoy the sheer illogicality of this test, and feel free to pinpoint the stupidity.
The questions are just ridiculous, and don't take into account so many factors.

Had to rant. They called me a Feeler. Those fuckers!
Re-did the test twice, and on the second try achieved 100% Thinker, just because of how predictable this shit was.
The comments: "Oh, what a great quiz!" "Spot on!" ... Shoot me now.:twisteddevil:

Sorry, rant over.

56% Thinker, 44% FeelerThinker

Thinkers make decisions based on logic. They tend to see the world in black and white and can be uncomfortable in situations not easily clarified and labeled. They prefer to focus on tangible things, searching for truth, logic and clear labels such as right and wrong. They like to discover the patterns, structures and systems within a situation. At work, they are task-oriented. Working with them is often brief, succinct and business-like. They may be seen as cold and heartless by Feelers.

Wow. INTPs or INTJs may be seen as cold, but why all thinkers? And why only 56%?

Dude, you were 1 question away from being a Feeler.
The logical fallacy of that quiz is astonishing.

11% Thinker, 89% FeelerFeeler

Feelers make decisions based primarily on social considerations, their own emotions and the feelings of others. They see all the shades of grey in life. They see life as an experience to be had and material things are less important than the experiences themselves. Feelers value harmony and are conscious of how their actions affect others. They focus on people, moods, emotions and relationships. At work they are sociable and mindful of interpersonal relationships. They make decisions based on moral and ethical values, not on cold hard facts. They may be seen as unreliable and emotional by Thinkers.

Shoot, I didn't manage to get 100% Feeler. Which did I get wrong?

[I'm beginning to suspect that some of the people below actually took the test seriously]

the question about computers vs psychology (love both) and the question about money vs ethics in job choice
(know plenty of idealistic thinking types) seem most questionable to me.

certainly not the best test in town, but my result (ratio) seems just about right. it's how people see me.

Nine questions with only 2 possible answers to each? Seems legit.

78% Thinker, 22% Feeler
Thinker

22% of the time I'm feeling people, and 78% of the time I'm thinking about feeling people.

Pretty crappy test. It's easy to game, because it's obvious which answer corresponds to what outcome, but it's an amateur quiz and they didn't bother to screen the questions to see how confirmed thinkers and feelers might answer them and what other kids of judgments might be applicable in choosing an answer. There's a lot more at work here than T/F in making these kinds of decisions... and some of the answers are much more Fi vs Te (ethics vs salary??)... Just because one is T doesn't mean one automatically values salary the most.

This is bad... but why are you so angry? You're getting all emotional, self-fulfilling prophesy much? :)

I'm pretty sure almost anyone on this forum could design a better test off the top of their head.

Haha, was for a brief moment, was mostly just humorous to me. :P
Just I knew immediately which answers would classify me as a Thinker and which a Feeler, and most of those answers that gave you 'Feeler' points, could just as well work for a Thinker, if you get me.

I didn't take the test, I didn't even read the whole test, I got to this question and just laughed in my head a lot.

You are hanging a picture on a wall. You:

Find a wall stud, measure at least twice and then pound the nail.

Eyeball it and then send that nail home! (You may have a few holes behind your pictures but you eventually get it right.)

My husband is a carpenter. And a thinker.

If I were so stupid as to not be able to hang a picture properly...

Sh*t you should see the way he looks at me if I talk about renovating and suggest anything that isn't structurally sound.

On the other hand, you should see the way he looks at me when I start talking knocking walls out and make it clear I can keep par with him on knowledge of what will or will not make the house collapse, let alone if I mention what needs to be done to make sure it doesn't collapse. (business time  )

I got 100% thinker because you already told me it was going to be bs so I tried to pick the answer that had to do least with feeling. I do see how this is stupid however, for example:

5. Of these two, you are most fascinated by:

Peoples emotions and what makes them tick.
Computers and what makes them run.

Just because I'm interested in psychology doesn't mean I'm emotional :/

The test isn't about the score you come up with, the test is to see if you'll take the bait or not.

Nearly everyone ends on feeler, and only people who despise thinking would not notice the stupidity in these answers.

Tl dr, the real test is whether or not you believe what the outcome is. OP has passed and is therefor a thinker, goodjob!

It's pretty stupid, but then again, so is this one, which has been around since the days of Web 1.0.

It seemed more like a "How awful are you" test than anything else. (Conscientiousness=/= Feeling)

I took the test and it told me I got a perfect score.

I'd say I did pretty good then.

I didn't take the test, but I knew it was stupid. Don't take these tests. Don't waste your time. Or, rather, waste your time. The more time you waste, the smarter I become. Idiots.
