No no.. I'm definitely INTP.
If anything I'd be INFJ, because I'm absolutely positive I don't have Fi, I have Ti+Fe. I even tried to argue with Adymus and the Podlair team (not to say they're 'authority' but a perspective i respect) that I might be an NF, and they said I'm an NT. Perhaps the worst failure of an NT type in existence though, but one nonetheless..

Here's the explanation one of the witch-hunting moderators offered:

"I care about the forum, and that means I care about the quality of poster here, I make no apologies for that and will wear no hair shirt over it."

It's not enough to obey rules. You must impress the moderators with your "quality" or you will be banned from INTP Central - without any warning or explanation.

Central's nuts, and I've just realised why:
They're actually trying, in some perversion of Fe usage, to include everyone. Of course what that means is to exclude everyone who does not fit into 'the family', whoever the family happens to be at the moment. There isn't nearly as strong a sense of camaraderie or kinship on this forum, I think. Everyone seems much more detached .... er, this is sort of more like an English family, and Central like an Italian family .... wait this might not make sense.

What I mean is - because there's sufficient distance here, people don't really have to 'fit' anywhere, and interestingly the times when this concern of 'not fitting' is brought up most is when people make mention of the oldies-and-the-goodies - people like lor, melkor, cog, noddy, auburn, blah blah. Other than that though there isn't a strong drive to maintain any one culture or one family; people's relationships seem to be carried on behind the scenes more than anything else.

I feel like a border guard of a tiny country bordering a much larger country when suddenly a stream of refuges crosses into our border with tales of offensive oppression. The humanitarian in me (most of you who know me didn't know I had a humanitarian in me did you? Well I do. I keep it locked in the basement and feed it the saliva soaked scraps leftover from the wolves in the attic. I think if I had spent much time there I would have tried to force-change my personality to ENFP by going to see chick-flix and attending self improvement seminars. Maybe take a job writing greeting cards for Hallmark.

I'm sure there is a plan. And some of us the weaker part. I'm fine with it though, since it's not my place, and there is a vision. And there is the element of inconsistency. This I presume was what got part of the member base to rebel this time.

I do wish they took more care of their members. Like letting people collect contact info, providing an explanation and so on (I can see it was done in the link). But at the time it was witchcraft. It kinda sucks as one get attached to forums like these.

There were a few intelligent people that were willing and able to debate interesting ideas, instead of spending all their time snarking about the supposedly low quality of "NooBs." But one by one most of them were banned or they left in disgust.
